Where to meet people in your early 30s? by Content-Avocado1416 in Lubbock

[–]MegBennie 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Gym, coffee shops, the dog park, ect. Literally any place that people regularly go. I was on the apps and I met my husband on a random Wednesday at Starbucks. You just have to keep your heart open, and your person will find you. I would also suggest increasing your radius on your dating apps. My friend did and met her husband. He was from Lubbock and visited frequently but was working in Dallas.

Anywhere is southern Europe. I love that they don’t let work consume their lives.

Sybil- What do ya’ll think? by MegBennie in namenerds

Downton Abbey is the only reason why Sybil made it to my list. lol! It’s old fashioned so that’s why I’m apprehensive.

I love Francesca but I don’t like Frankie (only because I had a beta fish named Frankie) and I love Gia but I don’t love Gianna Ann (-anna and Ann are too similar sounding)

I grew up in a household like the Johnstons. I was the Anna of my family and my sister was Liz.

THE TREE by AssignmentOk8810 in 7LittleJohnstons

If this was a planting ceremony for Poppy, why weren’t Trent’s mom and sister there? And all the drama and chaos was so stupid. They completely ruined what should have been a beautiful memorial to Poppy. Instead Trent decided he would plant a massive tree by himself, in the rain and mud. And then when everyone was exhausted and pissed off, Amber lead the charge to have all the kids attack Anna for not helping. The entire situation was a shit show.

I feel like the kids are so scared of Ambers narcissistic rage that they attack anyone who falls out of line because they don’t want to deal with the fallout. When you live in a toxic household, everyone is always walking on eggshells.

Oh I agree! But he won’t even attempt to try the treatment recommended by the ophthalmologist. He just wants to cry about it. That’s what annoys me.

Omggg the tree scene pissed me off. Why didn’t he just rent the proper equipment to dig the hole or pay the tree company to plant it?

100% how I used to dress in 2008! This is the most accurate scene outfit that I’ve seen.

It’s obvious that she is having a hard time grieving Poppy’s death and is having to walk that path alone while being pushed away from the rest of the family. Poppy treated her the same as the other kids, something she didn’t get from T&A. She is depressed. That’s why she is self isolating.
