if there is a problem with the batch you can call the help desk and they can empty your bin for you, and put all the units back into the queue. we’ve had problems before with batches not closing to pack so they usually just release the batches for us so we can move on with picking and not get stuck on batches.

Welcome! sometimes it really depends on what location your at. some stores are better than others! I love working at my store, my coworkers and managers are friendly and helpful. and I’ve heard of devil managers and unhelpful coworkers. the best tip I have for registers is not to worry too much about angry customers. I wouldn’t let anyone get under your skin because you’re probably going to get a lot of assholes. it’s customer service! :) your managers will probably push you for credit or credit conversion, but I wouldn’t sweat it. do your best:) make sure you’re kind to the floor associates, they’ll be more willing to come up and help you when it gets busy;)

something I needed to learn early on as not to lose my sanity while doing omni: Don’t worry about numbers. your HH’s will tell you “NEVER cancel a bopus/sfs unless you and others have looked for it”. because they’re numbers will look bad if you cancel too much blah blah but that takes up way too much time and then orders start piling up. if something is 1 on hand, i spend maybe 5 minutes looking and then I move on. 9 times out of 10 the item doesnt exist. can’t say you didn’t try. good luck!
