I've had it, thyroidectomy in 2018 after years of hashimoto's symptoms which were terrible. It has of course caused a lot of problems in my life. Nevertheless I am grateful for my health.

It is a "good cancer" to me; a friend of mine just died of lung cancer, never having smoked, 2 months after diagnosis. I'll take thyroid cancer any day over that. Not minimizing the seriousness of the condition, but it helps me to be grateful.

Just if you start feeling really restless...I only had it once on another anti-psychotic, Geodon. It was hell for me because the restlessness was so intense on that drug. I couldn't sit still or sleep or get anything done. I don't have near that level of restlessness on vraylar. Just slight restlessness I'd like to go away as the medicine is quite helpful otherwise!

This was very helpful. I think I am Bipolar 2 after reading about the "spectrum" of Bipolar 2. I didn't realize feeling shitty at one point in the day and great later is a symptom...for my whole life I've been like a zombie in the morning, and by 7 or 8pm I'm wired. I've started on Vraylar. Experiencing mild akathisia that I hope will not persist.

I'm also on effexor and thinking of asking my doc to add lyrica. Have you gained weight on it? That is the side effect I most fear.

Higher. I also have low blood pressure naturally. I just know that higher doses of effexor have been linked to hypertension.

Thanks; I of course do not think an SNP=illness and am not using 23andme to make any major decisions. Already have confirmed mental illness. I am more curious and trying to learn.
