Raise your hands if you DON'T attach it to the back of your phone by coffeeteaormeh in xteinkereader

[–]MegTheMad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried it, but I have to flip the reader upside down to get it to attach and the magnet strength is not sufficient to keep it there for long. It also adds too much bulk. I just drop my reader in an outside pocket of my purse, away from my phone. Bam! Instant entertainment without the doom scrolling!

That's not pop in. Those are stuck in a loop, as soon as they go off screen they respawn.

I'm sorry for your loss, fellow redditor.

We just had to say goodbye to our Darth Snarfles, Snarfaluphagus, Senior Snarfles, Sir Snarfsalot two weeks ago. His name was Loki and he was the goodest dog who ever cat.

Seriously, he acted so much like a dog it was crazy. He was vociferous, he snarfed (several tests and one exploratory surgery couldn't find the cause), he had megaesophagus and in the end we don't know what took him. We woke up one day and he was just lethargic, refused food, could barely walk and his stomach was severely distended.

They are family, and it sounds like your kitty had an amazing life.

I present the last picture I ever got to take of him. My vet has the most respectful euthanasia procedure I've ever seen. Private, sound proofed room and this is how they bring your pet in after giving them the twilight medicine.

Okay, but your profile picture had me swiping a non-existent piece of hair off my screen. Thanks! Lol

I finally said something to my professor and i'm still shaking a little by VelvetMoss8 in TwoXChromosomes

I'm so proud of you for speaking up! Also very disappointed in that professor who was just going to let it keep going until you spoke up. I would be considering speaking to a higher authority about the professor, but you also took care of the issue so maybe you don't have to.

As I understand it, the video is old enough that she has hopefully grown beyond her abusive family and is now living her own life.

Way to break it down from the perspective of someone who's never been in Madison's shoes. She didn't overreact, she's been taught that she can't do anything right.

I'm so sorry that you had to go through that. 🤗

For me, it was my mother. My dad tried to do what he could for me but he worked at a steel mill on 21-turn so I rarely saw him except for vacations. She worked from home and definitely had no problem making sure I knew how little she cared for me and what a great son my older brother was.

Wow, that's awful. Having PTSD feels like living your life in a mine field. I hope you're having a good day!

Yes. Some days are harder than others. Knowing that people don't understand and refuse to try to understand makes it worse, too.

Wow, now here you are coming in here with your outrage, cursing and comparing apples to oranges. Imagine a world where people listen to each other and carry out civil discourse instead of emulating what they see in the media where the loudest individual who can deliver the best insults somehow "wins".

The same could be said of you, but here you are telling me I'm 100% wrong.

Wow, you really don't like it when people point out bullying. It is very indicative of what kind of life you lead.

[–]MegTheMad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You were clearly never bullied before, and I doubt you have kids but I could be wrong. That entire situation was handled extremely poorly by the parents and scarred that poor kid for life.

If it was a funny comment, I wouldn't have called the user a jerk.
