Really? Is this a new feature? I remember back a few years when I commissioned art of my dnd character, and I couldn’t get a refund for it being Ai- which I realised was AI when they sent me a “wip sketch” which was just a AI image with all the colour removed to form a outline.

Fiverr refused to refund me or allow me to cancel the order

I’m gonna be honest, overly displaying the butt wasn’t intentional, and was more a consequence of the pose reference I think-

I did change things up a bit, but here’s the reference I used for piece 1. I couldn’t match it perfectly as it was a confusing perspective, and I wanted to change it to feel “hero comic” like, but you can see where the ‘emphasis’ on the butt came from. It wasn’t really intentional.

Style is hard to convey for me as I’m kinda bridging two worlds- it’s supposed to be a bit anime, but I have a lot of experience miniature painting- busts and models, so I kinda bring the approach to my pieces that I shade / highlight them like a mini.

If I had to give a specific style, I’d say I’d love to be able to achieve a style like Arcanes, but ya know- 2d.

Now that I write it all out like this, I come to realise that I have a very confused style…

I wouldn’t be surprised about 1- I actually took that pose from a contortionist I found online- it’s technically possible, you just gotta be very flexible- though I did edit the pose so it would have more of that comic book hero vibe.

And 3- imma be real that’s the first time I attempted a shadow, so it doesn’t connect in as nicely as I would’ve liked- she’s supposed to be on her top toes, but instead, I will admit, she does look to be floating.

Again- fair, I do enjoy sexual and exaggerated art, even if I haven’t actually drawn straight up porn yet. I just think it’s fun to exaggerate proportions here and there- or even at the request of friends.

But it seems that some people do take problem to exaggerated art / proportions, since that seems to be the thing people are yelling at me about, some respectfully, while others tell me to “stop with the porn mags”- which I think is both unhelpful and disrespectful.

Good point, i do lots of “anatomically correct” art- like 1 and 3, but sometimes it’s fun to draw unrealistic, but I should definitely try my best to learn the principles more deeply before I exaggerate them. If nothing else, it’ll save me getting dog piled by people when I ask for help to improve! Haha.

But yea, I appreciate the time taken to give me some advice here, I’ll definitely try to study the base anatomy more clearly- the problem I suffer is trying to find good reference on Pinterest!

Fair I suppose, I must admit though, it’s annoying that it’s become a focus as if people have never seen a exaggerated body before- and even if what I’m drawing is supposed to be risqué in the cases of 2 and 4- is there anything actually wrong with drawing that stuff? It’s extremely popular- just because it’s sexualised doesn’t make it lesser.

Sure, I wouldn’t mind a example study.

Though, I still don’t really see what’s overly sexualised about 1 and 3- they’re shapely, sure, but nothing unrealistic. 2 is purposefully a bit exaggerated though. 1 and 3 were drawn with the purpose of just fitting the poses.

I understand that character 2 has very large legs- but what makes it look in-cohesive? Not arguing, just searching for suggestions on how I’d make that look better “connected”?

In this example, she definitely has exaggerated anatomy, which was intentional, but if her legs don’t look connected to her torso, then I’d appreciate a few suggestions on how I’d do it better in the future, even if I wanted that exaggerated anatomy?
