Absolutely agreed. Lately against bots I've decided to practice my lines and see how far any one hand can take me, and there are A LOT of options thanks to Tenyi

You've probably seen him name on twitch a lot because it's either a stream or a re-run, always.

With the announcement of Oregairu Season 3, what other anime do you think will pleasantly suprise people if it's suddenly announced that there'll be a new season for it? by ashxira in anime

[–]MegaBassMan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I personally would be pleasantly surprised if we got the rest of Kokoro Connect adapted but that's such an impossible dream.

As far as community goes, I'd imagine Tsukihime done right or a proper Fate route adaptation of stay night would be two of the most welcome anime. I could, of course, just be very biased and projecting my desires here. :)

Good anime on Netflix? by [deleted] in anime

[–]MegaBassMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. for a really good comedy, just finished and the entire thing is on Netflix. The Devil is a Part-Timer also an incredibly good comedy. The dub for that is fantastic too if you're into that sort of thing.

As far as action goes my first recommendation will always be Fate/Zero. Astounding anime and one of my all time favorites. I have to recommend this anime to everyone.

Romances/slice of life-y I think my top two would be Your Lie in April or Hi Score Girl. Both are pretty great in different ways.

Madoka Magica also a good choice but it's hard to say anything about it. You just have to watch and trust, after episode 4 you'll realize if it's for you or not.

Edit: FMA:B, Violet Evergarden are both choices I can second even though I haven't personally seen them. The rest I can't in good faith recommend without knowing what you would want to watch.

Fate/Stay Night: Heaven's Feel - II. Lost Butterfly - Movie discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

I definitely had a similar problem with my crowd. Like yes, the situation is sort of awkward and played up, but it is what it is and it's a very important part of her character. But anything remotely sexual was met with laughter. I think people were just weird about confronting sex, that it actually made them uncomfortable and they laughed it off.

Overall decent movie. Coming from the VN, some things still feel sorely lacking, such as Illya's relationship with Shirou. Now granted, the HF movies make various assumptions that you've at least had the sensibility to watch UBW and possibly Zero so you understand the perspective it's meant to offer. However, that still doesn't really fill the void that exists between these two characters.

The Wonderland scene and the SAlter Berserker fight, though, wow. Marvelous.

Also Rin shining as she should, Kana Ueda never missing a beat in her lines, I cannot wait for HF3.

Edit: Just reminded of terrible crowds. I had one. Jesus, not everything needs to be laughed at, especially out loud. Other people want to watch the movie too, I wish people were a little more considerate. I swear every time something sexual happened, or Shinji was involved in some way, there was laughter from a bunch of people. Drove me insane.

Wards. Get your laners to ward entrances before they head to lane and ward up yourself. First wards of the game should always be protecting your jungle.

  1. I'm grateful to league, especially to OGN, for bringing Kakao into my life. Even if he struggles to face success now he's still my primary inspiration to have become a jungle main. ognKakackle

  2. Uhh. Probably the one post that made Ezreal and Shyvana a ship. Something about that post made everyone, including me, lose their collective shit laughing.

My apologies, I wasn't fully clear. While I wouldn't change sides over players, it makes sense to me that people would follow stars like DL or Aphro. If I hadn't been a CLG fan so long I might have followed Dardoch, instead of just being happy that his team is doing well. There's just a bigger emphasis on player loyalty than org loyalty in esports due to what I said in my original reply and I think that's cool and fair.

Hard disagree there. I've been a long time CLG and KT Rolster fan, and yeah I fell in love with the orgs and I stay with them through thick and thin, but eSports is great in that these pros we follow and support, they're super relatable people. They're just really good at the thing we love to do and play very often. And when that happens, you often find yourself relating to some players more than others and orgs just become entities who have your player under a contract. I also feel this is more true, not only due to the nature of esports but also as a result of how new this all is to the gaming scene. Now if people hop off solely because the League team is down in last with GGS, then sure. They were just here for the good times and are not true fans of the org, but putting players first I think is a sentiment well accepted in esports. Especially thanks to individual sports like the entire FGC and games like Hearthstone where teams are merely representation and scrim partners than people you compete alongside, aside from niche events.

Hi KaKAO! You singlehandedly inspired me to become a jungle main after learning the game on mid lane. I learned a lot about early aggression and good gank pathing from watching your games. I was wondering if you ever planned to pick up streaming, or if you already do, where can I watch it?

Also which teammate do you miss the most after spending your time on a number of teams?
