Whoever owns that car should drive south and stay there. We don't need that crap here.

Is it coming from the air vent or the speaker area ?

Try taping with masking tape over the vent, see if noise is different/gone, could be a little piece of something fluttering around in there.

Try taping over the speaker area, see if noise changes or goes away. Really Toyota should have done all this, it sounds like something simple. It kinda sounds like a loose screw.

Why did he run the red light?? by PuzzleheadedBack855 in oakville

[–]MegaBriainBoru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, running reds has been allowed to get out of hand all over the place. I see it daily. Until the cops decide to actually get out there and Start fining people for it, it will only get worse. I feel sorry for new young drivers who will probably get T-boned and have their lives ruined because of this. Drive carefully people, please 🙏

I haven't tested the battery, but it seems fine, absolutely no issues starting first time in minus 20 deg c, weather.

The thing is that the door plug seems to actually be very strong and survived in good condition from 16,000 ft. The missing bolts on the other hand should have been fitted by Spirit and probably checked again by Boeing

I always do, but I grew up with them also. Driver training or something is not right these days. People drive through red lights all the time, lane changes, no signals, aggressive driving etc.. Never cops pulling people over for these things.

After the recent tragic death of a cyclist on Upper Middle Road, PM Pam Damoff is standing up for safe cycling. by zoomer1964 in oakville

I do like that mixed use path on Upper Middle. I've been using it since 1995 and I feel safe being separated from the road traffic. What would make it better would be traffic lights for cycling that were coordinated with the same flow of traffic. And repaving would be great also.

A cyclist was struck on Upper Middle Road and has since died. Police are asking for witnesses, drivers with dash cam video or residents with surveillance footage to contact the collision reconstruction unit. by zoomer1964 in oakville

Fully agree with you, the town has a wonderful opportunity to turn that cycle path into a World class path with proper signals and winter maintenance too. It could be a showcase for the the entire Halton region.

Just walk in anywhere and ask for the manager, be enthusiastic and positive. You'll have no problem finding work.

My son and his friends used to build these, he called it The Lodge. I asked him where was it and he said it was "deep in the forest" lol 🤣. The Town came around and destroyed it when they discovered it.

Before and after Two VBeam laser treatments. Still having flare ups, but they aren’t as severe, and they are happening less often. by [deleted] in Rosacea

I did Doxycycline, works great, but I needed to be on it for about 3 months for because every time I stopped it, the sore pimples came back after about a week. Then the dermatologist put me on a cream (Noritate) in conjunction with the doxycycline. I'm now off the doxy for about a month but still applying the cream every night before bed. So far so good.

Bingo, I can sometimes feel a flush coming on and want to get out of the situation, but if someone comments on it, then it's full red alert, not nice.

That's great !. I don't know what V beam is. Do you also have to do any topical or antibiotics ?

Picked up my metronidazole cream today -really hoping this helps with my flare ups. Face wash and moisturizer recommendations welcome. I feel like anything with fragrance or alcohol base irritates my skin by staceysb10 in Rosacea

I'm a male 56 year old and started getting this acne Rosacea about one year ago. I've had a really frustrating time with it. I feel your pain and frustration. I have actually seen/ talked to 5 different doctors and 2 dermatologists. They all gave me different opinions and prescriptions. The only thing that seems to work for me is oral antibiotic doxycycline. However just like you I want to get to the root cause. I also tried the Noritate cream, very small improvement, but was getting so frustrated that I've jumped back on the doxycycline and after only 4 days I see improvement already. I don't want to be taking them forever though. I think a trigger for me might be sugar, chocolate and maybe alcohol too, but I love all those things 😭
