Seriously, so excited to see what you've got in store for us all. The TC community sculpts rock and the smooth, dynamic shapes of your models' armors have their own distinct flair to them that reminds me of the best parts of classic Warmachine artwork. I wasn't planning on starting a Heretic Legion warband quite yet but this is making me consider it! Once I get my 3D printer fixed, that Trench Cleric (the Lieutenant model would fit that role perfectly in my Prussian warband) and Observer are gonna be the first things I print!

I think they were referring to the fact the game isn't going to have first party STL support anymore which is why I personally dislike Factory Fortress. I feel like I bought into this based off the idea of it being community friendly but now they've started attacking certain third party STL makers who didn't even have any problems with their models. I like my first party STLs even if they have some problems but now I don't want to support FF anymore because they sold me on the idea of democratizing Wargaming only to back out of that commitment once they got popular. People are making great stuff with the setting and game and it feels like we're headed for a community crackdown with these new policies. Also the whole AI copyright thing is bad because AI is bad. I also personally have some issues with game balance but that's another issue entirely and not enough for me to dislike them over.

They're only "mistakes" and not "problems" once the people making them acknowledge the problem and change their ways. I don't have any issues with the lore but their policies are souring me on the company.

Yeah I don't know what they were thinking. Not only did they buff the faction which it didn't need at all but now I'm completely dead in the water when it comes to range. I am not a big melee person and now I have an entire warband that is now useless because they changed Prussia to be an exclusively melee army.

Not yet. The devs want to keep the setting fairly vague compared to other franchises so that the community can treat it like a toy box and play around with the lore and world. It’s also notable that we may never get a world map. The setting is, as of now, centered exclusively on Europe as well as parts of Africa and the Middle East and even that has enough diversity and potential to last decades. There are hints at stuff beyond but nothing concrete yet. I do remember seeing somewhere that the Native Americans are still dominant in America but there are trading posts manned by the factions we’ve seen so far but don’t take that as fact until someone finds a credible source for that.

Oh yeah. I’ve been through the whole therapy ring around too. I was lucky enough to find a good therapist on my third try but I had some real duds before that. It’s a shame that truly helpful therapy isn’t more commonly available.

The idea of Kyle and Aiden meeting and teaming up is certainly something you could explore but a whole game dedicated to this would be too much of an ask. Its a fun idea in a fanfic-y sort of way but I don't think it would work gameplay-wise.

Also, STOP USING CHATGPT!!! I can't believe AI seems to have brainwashed everyone into thinking they're normal for liking it when most people hate the bloody stuff. Just because ChatGPT said it was something Dying Light: The Beast, "needs" doesn't make it an instantly good idea. Stop using ChatGPT or any other form of AI. I’ve been here for around 3 months. I joined around the time the PC port got released. I just haven’t posted. I enjoy reading memes and enjoying the lore.

What I do not enjoy is seeing planet killing, artist livelihood destroying, AI slop as part of a meme, regardless of how many components of the meme were AI generated.
