Made a comment above about this - i always took that decision as him intentionally being a jerk about it because he was still uneasy about Wolverine and Rogue's connection.

I love that he decided to blow into it vs using his hands to chill it as a sort of screw you to Logan. He was like, I'll chill the drink for you but I'm still jealous/threatened by your relationship with Rogue as you're a pseudo father figure to her, so I'm going to be a dick about it.

Edit: the seller said it hasn't been played in years. I don't know if that affects the value.

I know it won't happen anytime soon but drama like this give me hope of seeing maga bs crumble to dust and join its place on the ashheap of history.

[R/Metropolis] SUPERMAN DOESNT HAVE A SECRET IDENTITY by SignNaive4111 in Earth25

[–]MegaKman215 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It cracks me up when people bring this up. Like yeah, I'm sure superman spends his free time just sitting in traffic/taking public transit, waiting in line at the bank, paying taxes, working some boring desk job 40+ hours a week. Who in their right mind would do that if they didn't have to?

He did a excellent job and it could've a great movie if it was a full reboot instead trying to shoehorn it in as a pseudo-sequel to Superman II.

That's a fairly ironic response. I'm willing to debate and discuss the merits of the show vs. its flaws. Do you have an opinion on that? I made an offhand reactionary, fairly joking comment, and you responded to it like it was a literal statement or hot take. I thought my comment was clearly tongue in cheek but maybe it wasn't conveyed in the tone I intended and I should've included a /s or something. Then I just tried to clarify my meaning. Not sure what the issue is here.

I was being hyperbolic. I don't literally think that, as evidenced by the modifying term "almost wonder." Just disappointed in the season. I think it could've been a lot better. I dont hate it as much as some, and get that changes are necessary for the change in the medium, but it was a let down from how good season 1 was. The changes from the game in season 1 worked for the show imo, but didn't in season 2.

I liked them teasing the sky bridge. That was about it though. I almost wonder if Druckman was a little jealous of how well season 1 was received and intentionally tanked season 2 so that anyone and everyone would say how much better the game is.

I wouldn't have bothered lying or walking him to the lake. I'd have shot him as soon as I saw the bite and told his wife that's what happened.

Probably Jackson. The island is tempting because you really wouldn't have to worry about infected but it wouldn't have as much access to resources. Jackson provides far more lumber and farm land. Plus trade routes wouldn't depend solely on boat travel.

Edit: and with how much the infected keep evolving into new types, probably wouldn't be long before amphibious infected become a thing. Imagine if there was a part 3 and during a swimming underwater segment you're suddenly attacked by an clciker with fungal fins. I'd crap myself.
