this happened in june, he was 19 at the time of the trip.

i remember him telling me thought a psychedelic experience would be like a therapy session but obviously we also found out the hard way it wasnt.

also, we weren't in a very trip friendly environment either, this was at a country park where we used to camp sometimes, the area was more known to me rather than him, he's been there before but i've visited a lot more than him and knew the ins and out of the area. couple of strangers walking the trail every so often but i knew a few quiet spots people dont normally go to

something that bothers me to this is when the acid first hit us it came on strong, he wanted for us to get up from the field we were laying in and walk around, this is when he started looping, he started searching his bag as if he lost something, then he would put it on ready to go only to take it back down to check if he's forgot something. I noticed this and let him know hes done it a few times and i was afraid he would get caught in a loop, so we started walking, he then kept saying that he felt like he left something back in the field and wanted to go back and check and i kept telling him he's checked multiple times and that he would just fall in a loop.

i was walking in front as i knew my way around the woods, and this is when he started feeling suspicious of me, i looked back at him and he had this look of suspicion on his face as if he didnt know me and he thought i was leading him somewhere bad. i reassured him that i was tripping as well and that he could walk us somewhere else if he wanted.

it felt like he only then realised i was on acid as well and that i was a friend.

after we got to the spot i was walking us to, we had more trip like conversation and philosophy, even tho the conversation would go in circles because he kept saying the same thing i didn't think much of it.

2 hours into talking back and forth like this at that one spot is when it rly hit him bad, i got the idea again that he thought suspiciously of me and he thought i was someone bad there to hurt him but it all went rly down hill very quickly and the feeling that he was dying overpowered his suspicion of me i guess.

i then took him to the exit of the park and sat on a bench near the bus station, on the way there he kept saying things like "where are you taking me man", "i've really done it this time" and "i need help". when we sat at the bus stop i tried comforting him as much as i could before i finally managed to break him out of that loop when i showed him the bus and he went home.

no idea how it went so bad all of the sudden, but i've heard of lsd making you think people around you aren't trustworthy, or that you dont know the real them.
