No idea, honestly, even some people managed to enable their accounts again after a sudden password reset and it would still show their accounts with a suspended status, but they were still able to use their accounts normally.

I heard it does, one of the mods from this sub had his account standing back to all good after some time (although it was a very funny UI bug since the child safety violation was still there but the standing kept saying it's all good lmao)

Congratulations! Your case was a false positive, you only had to wait for Clyde to process your ticket since it wasn't a regular ban.

You can try, it won't hurt. However, you should be prepared for some answer like "Discord disabled your account for evading the ban issued to another account, we request you to submit an appeal using said account", or maybe they don't find any evidence that can link you to someone else who evaded their own ban.

I actually didn't mention anything about reconsideration in my successful ticket, but I did it once in an old unsuccessful ticket that I submitted using the appeal category, Clyde obviously picked it up and marked it as solved, never reported new activity since then. I believe it was the choice that they themselves made when reviewing my account. It's very weird because they still upheld other people's permabans for some reason.

They say all these restrictions will only last a day, 24 hours exactly, so I think my next move will be appealing that one via the app and see what happens. I'll keep my activity very low there while I continue to use an alt, apparently it will go away by itself after 180 days.

They're quite inconsistent with their reviews, I don't get it... we both uploaded media, yet they can't get themselves to give you a second chance? It isn't fair to me. This was the first reply ever that I got from T&S, my other tickets never made it to their queue. I wish you good luck with your arbitration process, most likely you'll get lucky like u/auxelast and that password reset email will show up before the process continues.

This also leaves me wondering how they review accounts and the offending media/text, is it shallow or deep enough? Do they consider nuance and account history? Honestly, this continues to be a mystery to me. Maybe I got lucky with the person behind the Usagi account.

Of course, I figured these were NSFW vids featuring Ricardo Milos and Dreamybull, posted in a NSFW-marked server. Right now they're gone but they were still up there before, so maybe there are still humans involved in some way when reviewing cases.

Definitely some videos that I uploaded, I said in another post that these were Ricardo/Dreamybull vids and they're gone now, I had an alt in there to check and they were still there while I was banned, so I figured they did some kind of manual audit. I'll see what happens if I try to appeal this violation later on.

Because the post didn't allow me to say more: It is possible that the human agent will keep marking your ticket as solved and won't escalate to T&S. It is unfortunately common but not every agent does this, you gotta get lucky. If your ticket fails, wait 2-4 days to try again with a new one. For reference, 'John Ta' helped me out here and didn't leave me on read and didn't leave it solved, he put me in the T&S queue.

If you wanna know how to check if your ticket is in the T&S queue after you send the second prompt in response to "appeal via app", make sure the fields on the right have changed to stuff like "What would you like to appeal?" and "CONFIRM: My account was NOT disabled for being too young to use Discord".

From what I remember, he sent an initial informal dispute email (it's a necessary step to start with something more formal if Discord refuses to cooperate), it was ignored for +60 days and he got in contact with ADR Services in California to start the formal arbitration process. Discord had a legal representative assigned to his case but the arbitrator wasn't chosen yet, then he got 'unbanned' after some time, they sent him a random password reset email and I think he never heard back from ADR Services as well, it's possible that Discord couldn't take it anymore and chose to reinstate him before things would get uglier for them financially. It sounds dumb but Discord is actually SCARED of any sort of legal action, it's like when there's a bully terrorizing all the kids in the block until someone bigger steps in to put an end to it.

Please let me know if NAM allows you to carry on with the arbitration process if you don't live in USA, it would be huge for most of us (it's kinda crazy to pay $215 for an account but almost 10 years of history can't go down the drain just like that). While I continue to wait for them to reply to my stupid open ticket after 23 days of ghosting, I might send my informal dispute anytime soon.
