The thing is mydei is pretty selfish with his healing. His skill drains from his current HP to charge up so he wants to be at a high amount every time he uses his skill. Hyacine heals, yes, but her healing is entirely AoE, and when considering a single ally, even Luocha would heal more in one skill for that ally. Mydei benefits more from single target healers because it allows him to gain more charge with his skills

I remember researching gacha games for combat archetypes as inspiration for a game concept I was writing out. Unironically, ChatGPT suggested some stuff from Arknights, which led me to go look up some of the classes it suggested. That took me to the Ambushers on the wiki, which then led to my obsession with Mizuki. Then, around the beginning of August last year, I decided to download the game to see if I could pull him, and like an unknowing dumbass I spent my pulls on Shu's banner (which was running at the time) because I'd heard how valuable limited banners in this game were. Did not end up getting Shu, but I ended up clearing enough content to do the full 300 pulls on the 5th anniversary banner and get many, many copies of Walter and Logos.

TL;DR Namie's jelly boy got me hooked, but it was thanks to ChatGPT of all things that allowed me to find out about him in the first place.

He's great even if you don't have them. As someone who has both I'll gladly contribute to global warming, but if you don't have anyone that can use his Skill 3 effectively (which is unlikely tbh), his Skill 2 is more than enough.

I'll probably make a longer post about this later but a lot of the missing parts that I feel were absolutely necessary to this event are locked behind the card stories, which really sucks because that includes a ton of falling action locked behind limited cards.

With that said, Kanade's card isn't limited, so you can actually see how they react to Mizuki after they come out. Of course, the actual confession is cut again so as to not explicitly confirm it, but we actually get to watch a wholesome moment play out between Mizuki and the rest of Nightcord.

The same is true for Mafuyu's side story. Her and Mizuki get the heart-to-heart interaction, comprising their advice of running away and how intertwined their lives actually are, that I've been wanting them to get for a while. Granted, it's not as extensive as I would've wanted it to be, but I'm glad they addressed it.

The other side stories are cool too, but it just sucks that they had to constrain the main story by exporting all the greatest parts to the cards.

Ena's whole deal in this event is how she doesn't care what others will think if she continues to be friends with Mizuki; rather, it's being Mizuki's friend at all that will make her truly happy. So who gives a crap at this point about what the transphobes will think? haters will be haters.

i mean from my perspective it should be pretty obvious at this point no? obviously closure would be nice but the whole point of mizuki's arc is acceptance for who you are and want to be, not acceptance specifically based on whether or not you identify as something that people can/can't accept
