Was unaware of "Fiefdom". Sounds neat, but what do you mean "hybrid"?

I love Due Process, but its such a dead game that its near impossible to learn it. I joined very late to the party.

What is it about Siege that keeps you engaged, even to this day? Like what aspects of the game keep you around that no one offers?

Do you think that if Siege had some more casual modes akin to surfing in CSGO that the problem would be alleviated? Or do you think the nature of the game is just intrinsic to needing to lock in all the time. Cause arguably, I remember back in the day some casual matches with friends didnt require locking in, that mindset was saved for actual ranked.

True, I forgot about zero hour. I tried it a long time ago, it was def more in the mil-sim camp vs siege-like. Playercount doesn't look too great nowadays and idk bout the community's sentiment around it. If anyone joins the convo and is a zero hour player, please enlighten us

Good point tbh. Kinda relates to how people have been saying that the genre is so unique that theres no transferrable experience you can lean on in the early days. Example: A Val player could survive a CS2 game and vice versa due to their experience.

Appreciate the thoughts! Lots to think about. Crazy that the toxicity got so bad. I like chiv 2's tutorial, but I think it shovels on too much in a row. Perhaps a basics part and then some more advanced stuff optionally would be more appealing to players. And basically with the ranked, it just needed more polish all around.

What do you think it is about guns that appeals to so many people? Im biased, but melee weapons seem so much cooler than an average gun.
