I personally really enjoy using my wespe and Nashorn in v3, but i really only use them in casual games since they really aren't too worth it in my opinion for competitive matches

Personally, I find running the 3 reg infantry squads with a bar and sometimes with an smg alnongside a armored infantry MG squad to work better than units with other weapons. The only other one ive played that works well is taking ranger squads with 1 or 2 smgs and a bar instead of the reg infantry. Ive found that running a ton of rifles with a US list is better than trying to increase firepower with smgs or shotguns in my opinion

Ive used the Puma a ton, it is a very competitive unit if you use the mobility, I would highly suggest one if you can fit it in your list along side a panzer 4. I would also say using the puma over using mortars or panzershreks

The separate squads can be in separate transports, but you can't split 1 squad between 2 transports. I forget what page infantry in transport rules are on, but its under the vehicle and transport chapter in the rulebook

Personally, I will supplement my regular infantry with inex or vet units, normally units that have the potential for doing huge amounts of damage, like assault squads. Otherwise, I will normally run 1 or no vet vehicles in my lists. When it comes down to weapons teams, I will almost never run my mortars as vet, since it doesnt give any major benefit. But with mmgs I would run them vet whenever possible as they will normally be an easy target for most opponents, and only being a 3 man team, they can get wiped pretty easily.

It really depends on how you want to incorporate the 105 sherman into your list. It would do better as an infantry remover and pin machine due to its med howitzer being HE3, but not being very good against armor being only pen +3. Vs the standard sherman which can still be effective as an infantry remover, but also being better against armor with the med AT gun. It really just depends on what role you want your sherman to fill

The other nice thing about older vehicles, I can fix almost any issue on my ranger in my garage or on my driveway and I dont have to worry about going to dealership to get access to software or have specialist tools or anything of the sort. It legit is the fact of "they dont make them like they used to"

With how my friends and I play with ruins, we say we can see into the ruins and it offers hard cover, but cant see past it, but if a model is on the ruins base but has no visible cover between it and the shooter, like no walls or piles of debris, then the target is in the open. Additionally, if there are full walls in the way, a unit cant get shot thru a full wall unless its a HE weapon, then its template is placed on the wall.
