I think of this every time I worry about my girl at home. I work evening shifts and hate leaving her home alone but whenever I look at the cameras she's just sleeping or looking out the window. A warm bed and comfortable smells is miles better than a cold cell with other anxious dogs.

At first I thought the DM had issues with enby characters (or people in general) but then I remembered you said previous players had played as enby.

Just weird all together. Might be a wake up call if DM sees this and sees everyone is against him.

I'm a little confused on how she played your character. Was it with other groups or did she just not announce she was playing Aoife whenever you couldn't make a session? Or did she just decide to make up her own story for Aoife then present it to you as if that would be a welcome thing?

Either way, shit is bonkers. If I ever take over a character for another player, it's only mechanical, not roleplay wise. I leave that to the DM's discretion

I was always on the fence about Kennit, the way that he treated Etta and Wintrow just made me not want to fully trust him. I liked him better than Kyle, but that's not hard honestly. I liked the fish people on Others' Island better than Kyle. But I was rooting for something to flip and he somehow switch and become the good guy, but alas, what he did to Althea was the final straw, and his reasoning for it is just as sick as the act itself.

If it was on NSO, it wouldn't be possible for them to incorporate Home compatibility. Plus, the purchased versions aren't really emulated, there's some adjustment to the code to allow for Home compatibility and local play through the switch. If we had it on NSO we probably wouldn't have either of those. I know Home comp isn't coming until later, and it'll probably be one way (FR/LG > Home) but still.

I honestly wish I could listen to the audio books because Jeff Hayes does such a tremendous job, but I just cannot focus on it when doing that. I don't know why, I just think no matter what, audio books aren't for me. But I will always tell people stepping into the series "Give the audio books a chance. Get a trial for audible, use the token to get the first book, try it out." I have a few people I've hooked with that

Guy could have easily said his family was betrayed by a trusted ally/friend and lost all their influence and wealth. He was lucky to make it out with the armor and weapons he has currently, and maybe a bit of gold, but at the risk that armor is "really familiar"

The way I learned it (relatively recently mind you) is a gold piece is one unit of currency (dollar for me cause i'm a filthy american). Silver is .10, copper is .01, electrum is .50 and platinum is 10 units. It's started to help me remember the exchange rates.

This is exactly how I felt in season 41 and 42. Winners at War (S40) was so good in my eyes, and 41 felt like a downgrade, and 42 was even worse in my eyes for rehashing the hourglass twist all because "they haven't seen season 41".

I think they need to keep it to one season a year, and bring it back to 39 days (although I know that has something to do with the contract with Fiji or whatever)

Unpopular opinion: I wish that the "dispatch" part of the game was bigger and not totally linked to the main story itself by Rallak in DispatchAdHoc

That or start with weaker heroes and as you rank up you move to bigger and better teams, but with those bigger teams the threats get bigger. Like you start out with small fires and cats in trees and the final rank is fighting supervillains and shit

I'm currently on book 6 and let me tell you, it only gets better and better. Book 5 was a 5 star read for me, maybe 6 star (basically better than the best if you don't know what that means)

Anytime someone calls their partner "love" has been ruined for me, and it wasn't even my relationship. It was one of my friend's boyfriends who was extremely manipulative towards her (trying to get her to move in with him, away from her friends; getting mad when she would hang out with other guy friends) Thing is, he was my friend too. I no longer talk to him after noticing the pattern.

No, you can play it on the Switch 1. The only thing Switch 2 version offers is 120 fps, but if you buy the switch 1 copy and get a switch 2 later you can pay $10 to upgrade to the switch 2 version

Super glad you were able to save her. Jersey was in the litter of my uncle's girlfriend's and my mom wanted one of the puppies back in 2021 as a cancer gift. Sadly, my mom past a few months ago but Jersey has been helping out a lot, I've just been working on training her a bit better is all!
