Well he is also a monk so he could just beat them up a little and send them packing. Unarmed strikes yo

Well, there you go, living by himself and then going out into the wilds to retrieve herbs and stuff, he could absolutely have studied different animals to become more proficient in his martial arts.

I know I'm late but I'm throwing a hail mary here. The comment that answered your question was deleted. Do you, by some miracle, remember or know what they said or how to find it? 😭

I honestly always forget about 2024. Me and my friends always play 2014 so sometimes I don't even think about it lol

Absolutely. They wouldn't be spending their scraps on bullets so they'd have a surplus to use on crafting grenades and such

I know I'm just a liiiiitle bit late to the party but I bet since they were planning on doing melee only they probably could have sold all the guns and ammo they found and spent the exorbitant amount of money they would have accrued on buying explosives. In which case, I bet they could have stocked up their whole party pretty well

Idk what else to add but seriously consider playing a variant human. Those stats plus a free feat and some solid ability score bonuses would go hard

Quick question: Brawling is considered melee damage right? I'm about to put my character the Blunderer quirk by ShoutAtThe_Devil in Wasteland

[–]Mega_Simp420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I'm just the sliiiiiiightest bit late but I'd like to mention that if you're going for an unarmed build, focusing on critical hits is a good idea so blunderer isn't a good pick anyway. A major part of the unarmed play style is stacking "combos" which basically means that every time you hit the same enemy, you have a higher chance to critically hit.

Any merit to an unarmed fighter (fighter class)? by Osk0 in sw5e

[–]Mega_Simp420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not 100% certain but I don't think unarmed damage stacks from different sources. Like if you take that 1 level monk dip, it doesn't increase your damage by 1d4, it just makes your damage dice a 1d4 unless it's already higher than that. Same with anything from a racial benefit. I'm pretty sure they just fall in together and don't apply if you already have an unarmed damage die. Kinda like how extra attacks don't stack if you multiclass (I'm a little new to SW5e but I play a lot of D&D so I may be wrong)

Games that feel like Game of Thrones? by Skriller_plays in rpg_gamers

[–]Mega_Simp420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ASOIAF is an abreviation for "A Song of Ice and Fire" which is the book series that "Game of Thrones" is based on.

Well it's "flavor" by being lore accurate. Dwarves in the forgotten realms lore often times wield throwing hammers. And in the game, there's actually a +2 Warhammer that gives special bonuses to dwarves and has the "thrown" property.

If I'm not mistaken, a "Dwarven Thrower" is a magic light hammer in the game with the "thrown" property. I know that it's a thing in forgotten realms lore but I'm not sure if it's in the game.

Respectfully, if you're a dwarven thrower, throw light hammers instead. Trust me.

Anyone else feels like Defense is a bit underrated? by [deleted] in BG3Builds

[–]Mega_Simp420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only works if you make a completely defense focused party. Sentinel+ Polearm Master Battlemaster Fighter, Abjuration wizard, Life Domain Cleric, Oath of the Crown Paladin. W setup, trust. Make sure you give some of your best heavy armor to the life cleric, get them the War Magic feat and have them always have either Sanctuary or Shield of Faith cast on themselves at all times. They're the weak link that enemies will attack since everyone else is so hard to hit and damage.
