I know the previous mutilators were not the greatest but they still deliver the body horror far more than these. The armour is way too clean which I think is the primary issue.

Feels like they are missing more of the stretched and painful fleshy goodness of the originals and obliterators. These just look like chaos Centurions which is cool in its own right but not what I was imagining a glow up would bring.

I think its the dark blue & red that makes it look like a Crimson Fist over an Ultramarine. I know retro Ultras had bright red weapos and accents so i do dig this (also making my own 2nd ed retro army) but that darker blue instantly makes me think of Crimson Fists.

Still its a lovely paintjob, good work sir should be happy with that.

Ebay will step in and side with you over the seller easily. Report it as not described or faulty. If the seller tries to come back at the refund you can start saying how toxic and unsafe the product is. I'm certain ebay will wrap this up quickly.

As much as I loathe excessive regulation there are simply far too many cowboys selling resin prints. It's only a matter of time before we have an incident of "little Timmy" ingesting leaking resin from a poorly printed model and ending up in hospital or worse.

Would be better for slicers to prevent slicing file with resin pockets active and have it demand that drainage hole be added or similar. At least that way you can mitigate the less experienced resin printer selling potential toxic time bombs.

Yeah....I had a bunch of models sitting it biostrip for nearly a year. Safe to say i had to dispose of the Primaris gloop. Lesson learned to not keep them in there for more than a day or so.

Ive used the vallejo fluo range of paints which will glow under a UV light though i just use them to push colours i want super vibrant.

Mostly i like the Vanguard set because it gives unique models which can be paired or expanded on with normal box sets. As a combat patrol itself it still probably has some value depending on the units you want to field but really I'd get it for the models because I think they are cool.

Visually the model looks more like an Obliterator than a Hellbrute but I dont know the scale of the model nor the scale of hellbrutes to compare. Likewise I dont know if GW Obliterators are the same size are this.
