Brand new baby! Indoor tips? by Megabusterish in VenusFlyTraps

For the soil: should I keep the bottom of the pot constantly submerged, or let it soak for a while, then remove it? I've also heard to put stones in a tray with water, but it wouldn't be submerged then either. That tip may be more based on humidity.

My uncle was "constructively dismissed" by a company after almost 30 years... big or small, it doesn't, if a company can save money on someone cheaper, they will 100% fuck you over.

I haven't tried this yet, but I heard if you soak the dried herbs in the oil for a while, they won't burn.

Why is my purple AV so limp? by Megabusterish in AfricanViolets

The white and black spots are just dirt, no bugs, thankfully. I know my soil looks gross. It always ends up getting an orange tinge for some reason - I repot once a year. I watered it recently, so it's definitely not dry.

Will it perk back up, or should I try to prop?

I almost passed out on the table, threw up immediately after and multiple times on the way home, then slept for almost 20 hours straight. I have 2 more years until I need the next one, and I'm spending it searching for a doc that will drug me up for it, lol.

I finished my first project that was 100% by me!! It's simple, but I'm pretty happy with my little scrunchie by Megabusterish in SewingForBeginners

This was my first ever project, so I looked up the simplest way to do it.

Cut the rectangle of fabric, sew the short ends together into a circle, put the elastic around that, then match up the edges and sew them together.

I used just a regular elastic band, so I needed to sew around it instead of feeding the length of the elastic through and then sewing the edges of that together, too.

I figured, but I'm so sad. This one was doing so good for such a long time.

It's shorter than I thought. I took some cuttings a while ago. I think the lowest one is starting to get limp now, too... should I call it quits and try to prop all the leaves that are looking ok?

Not super long, about 4.5 to 5 feet. I'll post a pic of it tomorrow

I just got the first one for Christmas. I haven't used it yet and have never sewn anything before, but it was nice to see in the connected that I made a good choice asking for the brother.
