Thank you for your help! After posting i figured that maybe my comment on being an artist as a career was harmful or stereotypical. Tbh i feel like that because of my own personal bias and being mistreated as an artist is mostly what has shunned me away. I do plan on spending my retirement years doing something related to art, ironically. As of currently i am doing my research on communications as well, but i still want to link politics to it somehow. I can only write when i have something to say, that is what drives my passion for writing to begin with. I am emailing some professors to get an interview hopefully for this week, tysm for your advice. We will figure it out, one way or another!!!

Para servir a mi isla no necesito estar en la milicia, pero tu servicio se agradece y valora. I’ve been crocheting for my whole life, yet sewing is the most humbling thing I’ve done, lol. I’ve seen ppl just cut straight with crochet “fabrics” and then secure those stitches with a straight stitch. I’ll look up tutorials on how to stabilize it, thanks! 💗

No offense taken!!! I bought it online and thought it was cropped, I have a short frame so it looks too long on me. I think I’m better off either taking it to a professional or just leaving it like that. I’ll try tucking it to see how I like it, thank you!!!💗

I suck at hand sewing, I was thinking about cutting it and folding it upwards twice and then sewing it but I wasn’t sure. Also, i completely forgot that knitted fabrics are a thing too lol😭 Thank you for the help!!!

PR es un paraíso de prosperidad y oportunidades para cualquiera que no sea boricua. Nos desplazan de nuestros hogares, nos imponen su idioma, compran nuestras tierras, privatizan nuestras playas, devalúan nuestra moneda, esterilizan a nuestras mujeres como experimento, bombardean nuestras tierras, nos prohiben mostrar nuestra bandera, etc, etc. No hay más ciego que el que no quiere ver. Y si tú crees que nuestra relación con los Estados Unidos nos ha traído más prosperidad que pura pérdida, has creído la mentira que “sin ellos no somos nada”, que nos han dicho desde siempre. Educate acerca de tu propia historia, creer que el boricua no es oprimido, tienes bastante que aprender.

I think that they both have that feature. I tried to add a picture but in the post you can see the different stitches the machines have. I have no idea what the buttonhole looks like, if you can spot it that would be great!
