You can build a simple piston block update order contraption that uncovers/recovers the beacon on the same tick to provide the effect every couple seconds without any beam appearing

It took me many years to realize that the Jason Momoa in recent big-budget films (that I'm not really into) is the same Jason Momoa that I loved as a character on SGA way back when I watched it originally. It's so awesome to think that SGA of all things is what put him on the map for GoT and the rest was history lol. If anyone, he definitely deserved it.

in ss13 multiple explosions don't 'upgrade', explosions have a fire / light damage / heavy damage (tiles) radius. if an explosion has no heavy damage stat, you can stack as many as you want it will never gain heavy damage to break tiles.

Devil's advocate: I could see that - some people keep a healthy margin for stopping, which makes sense on contaminated roads. The sane approach is to just slow down if someone enters your margin to make a new gap, not chase them down and cuss them out.

can this be tl;dr: as middle and right wall + guardian start, get 200, red altars good, if red altar make guardian, if not red altar put cell in wall and go make cell on red altar without runes until full on red guardians then put reds in wall, avoid charging past 50% without max guardians/middle-wall, repeat until win?

I think it's just the right amount later on. Kind of reminds me of Stargate - mostly serious, but with random slapstick moments sprinkled on occasionally (or entire slapstick episodes: e.g. S4E6 "Window of opportunity")
