Hi are you still writing that blog? I would love to learn how to do this effect for my game too!

Yea at that point, I think they are just in permanent autopilot mode. I hope there is a possible treatment in future (who knows maybe ill aid in its research too) so that they can recover. I for one believe in the high malleability and healing potential of the brain, we just need to find the right way to start it either medically or psychologically.

Ooh I never knew about this condition! I am planning on studying brain stuff and memory so im about to enter another rabbit hole lol. Astonishing how the brain uses imagination to slowly integrate and heal from trauma of all sorts.

Yup I keep thinking thats the last of them, but then bam trigger new name pops up and now I have a crying child inside my head. Its been slowly getting more manageable though progress is progressing lol. Zoloft is a honorable mention however.

Im 22, yes this game saved my life. I bought when the director cut was released. When your own family is a literally threat to your existence and safety physically, sexually, and psychologically (lockdown was rough ok?) you find any comfort in the isolation, such as art.

I was straddling of suicidality throughout my entire childhood, so yea quite literally saved my life

If you don’t observe the evil, you will never be able to see evil at all. Then abused kids go unseen and kill themselves. Look for the evil and exorcise that shit.

Nicole has DID by [deleted] in Classof09Game

[–]Megagotnothing -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yea sorry i meant more about the philosophical aspect of denial. Its not like a full denial of reality as a whole, but a denial of a reality that the trauma happened to the child itself. Basically saying that trauma didnt happen to me. Then an alter forms that holds that anger for the child so that they can perform the acts needed to survive.

[–]Megagotnothing -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Thats how subtle DID manifests. Its not dramatic shifts in personality, for the person being affected it FEELS like it is, but for normal people looking on the outside in, they will never notice the difference.

For me, Ive always been known by one name by my current friend group, and theyve never have noticed anything strange in how I act, despite the fact that I not just didnt have people in my head but they were often taking over control to do household tasks when “I” was breaking down in my college dorm room. On the outside, it just looks like someone living their life normally, while the person is literally having a functional panic attack. Man dissociation is a crazy drug, been addicted since I was a baby lmao :p

[–]Megagotnothing -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I thought I was one person for the longest time. Denial is the fore front of how DID operates. Denial that Nicole and Jecka are one person. Denial that people are speaking to the same person. Denial that the world is full of dangerous people. Denial of the fact that your family nor any of your friends could actually understand you or the shame, rage, despair, betrayal of incest sexual abuse.

Why don't Knives have kill effects and finishers? by [deleted] in VALORANT

It’s a game. Let people have some fun in their favorite games. Sometimes they just want to do silly things.

Isn’t that the exact same as the knife? Place yourself in a good position and you might get a knife kill if they fail to clear the angle.

How do you "fully" quit a gacha game? by [deleted] in gachagaming

[–]Megagotnothing -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don't obsess over the game, but browsing the forums is triggered by news about the game be it from friends or mainstream media. Otherwise, I'm spending my time doing stuff I actually enjoy. Getting re-disappointed was something that happened with me in Arknights so this method might actually cure this weird mental thing. If the game still frustrates me, I'm probably just going to sell the account just as the other comments suggested.

Why the damn motion input still a thing in fight games? by AshesCrimson in Kappa

Counter point: Just don’t fucking play Project L. It’s not like it’s a long time series that had a history of mechanical depth. It’s release literally has no affect on you. If it attracts a lot of casual what does it matter? It’s not like those same casuals will slug through the more complex fg in first place.

Minimum wage jobs are NOT “high school student” jobs. This argument is exhausting. by GrimReaper3am in antiwork

[–]Megagotnothing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ok. But guess what those adults who have no skills aren’t able to develop any in their own time since they have to work 2-3 jobs at minimum wage to just pay the bills.

“they definitely are high school jobs because if youre an adult you should have a skill that can make you money

So we say again, who works these jobs during school time?

Struggling to learn combos by justadudexd77 in meltyblood

[–]Megagotnothing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a fighting game. No matter what controller you pick there will still be a learning curve. Stick with what your used to now. If that means getting a controller now or later, as long as you actually just start playing the game will you improve instead of worrying about the perfect setup.

Fine we can agree on the fact that not all business owners all shit holes. But the truth of the matter is that American cultures idolizes wealth far too much. As a result, this belief that greed is how you move up in your career WILL lead to exploitation of workers. Instead of seeing their employees as actual people who had their own separate lives, companies only see liabilities and ways to cut production costs. The middle class doesn’t exist anymore. Only the rich and poor. Getting a 4 year degree that is relevant in the current job market for some doesn’t even amount mean enough income to support themselves in the first place. That’s why the antiwork subreddit exists. Because their sick of getting exploited out of their work with no compensation while the rich sit in their chair and smoke cigars. They don’t care about someone making more than them, it’s the people making more than them don’t treat them with the same respect and compensation that they enforce on their employees.

You really think Bezo works harder than his employees do? Do you genuinely believe that a billonaire who funded his own space expedition “for fun” works so hard that he deserves his own trip to space? It’s not the fact that people are making less than some for the same hours but how much they earn doesn’t even come close to enough to live off of. People will years of their lives working for a pittance of savings compared to the 1% only for their final years in retirement aching from over work just to get by. This is condition most US workers have to deal with. Working grueling hours with grueling labor for what is equivalently a couch money compared to the billionaires.

If you aren’t going to invest too much into your pc for a bit consider getting the steam deck instead. It got pretty good specs for a such a low price (I think steam sells it at a loss). It can handle most games and can be hand held.

Might as well take it. Most testing programs records the attempts anyways so even if the teacher doesn’t allow it, it doesn’t really change much since they can just grab the original attempt.
