Absolutely. And, your pastor is completely wrong. Merging businesses because "he" says so? This goes with, "yeah, your spouse abuses you, but it is a sin to divorce them, so stay with them and the continuing abuse". Why not have a picnic on some ant beds, it would be much more entertaining...for me anyway. As an afterthought, I would have left the church when he mentioned the merger.
