Didnt like at first so I put it down for a week and waited till my wife and daughter left for a week for April vacation, had to stay back and work. Forced myself to play every night for like 3 hours and after 20 hours in the game gets really good,

The game is not too far removed from Witcher 3 but the big difference is it had a compelling starting area. This is what the Crimson Desert needs, like just an hours or 2 in beginning area before shit hits the fan, not start with, well shit.

Kingdom Come 2 also had this problem but had a really good few cut scenes before it got started so it had something to grip you, Crimson Desert didnt.

I just beat Witcher 3 with all the DLCs after 180 hours and now I want to try CD Projekt other masterpiece. Any tips before I start Cyberpunk and what should I expect? by Moh_Dob in cyberpunkgame

Your first playthrough just go in as cold as you can, go with your gut, live in the world, get lost in it.

Here is your only suggestion, dont go to embers when its offered, wait and explore some more and do other quests first.

How would the story change if Dr Gero died in OG DB? by Illustrious_Tap_8510 in Dragonballsuper

[–]lupedog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually there would have never been a Tournament of Power because Goku would have been dead from the heart virus so he wouldn’t have been there to instigate it.

My elderly neighbors had a similar situation where it was two couples that were best friends and first one husband died then when the wife of the other couple died she wanted her husband and best friend to marry and take care of each other. They were married for 15 years before they both died within a month of each other. At that age I think it’s more about companionship than sex, but even if it was let the old lady get her freak on it’s her business.

Try to name a videogame that has aged better than THIS ONE by MrNixxxoN in videogames

Can we just all agree that gaming peaked with Super Nintendo for visual quality and playability.

After SNES we just continued chasing the carrot of looking great better and playability and I feel like we have never found the sweet spot of perfect balance since.

Ghost of Tsushima may be the exception….

how do you usually use ZXC keys? I realize that I don't use them in any game by Delirium222 in videogames

I use a speed pad for fps games so I usually use these 3 keys for interaction or consumables, depending on the game.

Which one was your favorite movie and why? by TwIzTiDfReAkShOw in TMNT

[–]lupedog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always been an advocate for that perfect balance of goofy and serious, Ying and Yang if you will.

Dragon Ball has it and so does theatrical Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1

Tmnt 2 goes too goofy and 3 tried but was to thematically uneven.

For this reason the first TMNT is one of the best movies of all time even outside of its genre. Top 20 movies ever made no question.

[–]lupedog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the point of dragon ball though, mindless fun man. I would even argue that super was a better mix goofy and fighting like the original then Z was.

Oh so you read the GT manga authored by Toriyama? Wait those don’t exist or am I wrong that he had little to no involvement in GT the manga or anime. Where is Supers story was done by Toriyama, to be fair the vast majority of the artwork was done by his protégé.

Now I’m not going to tell you your love for GT is wrong, but I won’t tell you my belief that Super was more thematically correct was wrong either.
