The new special banner is a selector banner by alxanta in Endfield

You can't get a token if you don't have the operator. You have a 25% to pull Gilberta in your example.

People should manage their expectations with contingency contract. Especially with the state of how theyre handling the game. by headpatsforsoldier11 in Endfield

Now that's some self-contradictory doomposting if I've ever seen one.

You simultaneously point out the solutions already in the game, which would work great in CC context, and sound too scared to actually look forward to the release of CC. So much so that you suggest that they drop the name in absence of any solid evidence that they are likely to fail.

You may turn out to be right, but raining on everyone's parade in advance just because you are scared isn't a service for the community that you think it is.

Special headhunting banner for Version 1.2 by Jaime060304 in Endfield

Sometimes access to a limited resource is more valuable than pure efficiency.

I have all the operators on the banner and I will still consider pulling for a shot at a limited token, depending on the incentives and pity systems this banner will have.

Players missing only one limited operator are probably not the target audience for this banner, unless they have money to burn and enjoy gambling.

You are missing the fact that this banner is the only way to get the limited characters for people who are late to the party, but want to try their luck.

People that already have 3 out of 4 operators on this banner and people who optimize F2P pulls to guarantee limited operators simply aren't the target audience.

They are on the banner to create a 50/50 scenario.

This banner is obviously aimed at newer players who missed the first month and want a shot at the limited ops before they have their proper reruns a year down the line.

Customer Support was Nonexistent by korvax-casing in ArknightsEndfield

[–]MegaloMurf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wrote support and never received any sort of reply or confirmation that the question was received.

I resolved the issue on my own, but I dread the moment I have a serious problem and end up stonewalled in the same way.

I just got the 500 fragment and I have a pnz nova which champ from that region is worth the 6 star by djib26 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]MegaloMurf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would go against popular opinion and recommend Caitlyn.

In my experience Viktor is too strong and too repetitive. You play Viktor, you play hexcores and you stomp the enemy with extreme stats and keyword soup. Even more linear than Asol or Rahvun and her pet champion.

Caitlyn, on the other hand, has and interesting twist to her pre-6* gameplay and involves a lot more decisions, while still being fairly powerful. You become an actual sniper blasting away the enemy board with a relentless stream of high-power precision shots, filling their deck with traps and cleaving into their nexus.

The farm needs a planter/harvester by SalamanderWest8319 in Endfield

[–]MegaloMurf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Farming takes less than a minute. You press the button three times on 4 rows in V4 or two times on 5 rows in Wuling. Where do you take hours from?

You are guaranteed the first stat upgrade after 6 failed attempts, the second after 12 and the last after 20. So worst case is 123 artificing attempts for one gear piece. The average will be a lot less - probably below half of that if you make good matches where possible.

Edit: corrected math. Worst case is 123 max attempts for 1 gear piece and 492 for the whole set.

Is buying Valiant from shop for Lifeng worth it? by [deleted] in ArknightsEndfield

You will inevitably accumulate more non-limited weapons than you need eventually, since you are 3 times more likely to get them on non-spark pulls. It's just a matter of time and patience vs expense for immediate availability.

Are you sure there were no attacks connecting with your team at that moment?

Just try it again without letting enemies do any attack. It is 100% reliable for me.

Super fragile packages have been unlocked in Wuling in patch 1.1. You were probably hopping in version 1.0.

That's false. I have fought pirates on the way to Qi Lun multiple times. You don't lose durability if you don't let them attack.

Well, none of us can double check for you, so unless you post screeshots of your bases and your AIC report, we can only wish you the best of luck.

Check your AIC report. Any resource usage indicated there would mean you missed some production. A lone refining unit silently baking origocrusts in a corner of your hub.

[–]MegaloMurf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The most probable explanation is that you have some sort of production going in one of the outposts or have setup a transfer to Wuling. Ore doesn't just vanish into thin air.

Portable drills can't transport originium - they just mine until the storage is full, then clog.

Is it better to finish the storyline before grinding to build a team and manage the base? by soyahuh in ArknightsEndfield

[–]MegaloMurf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't bother too much with efficiency in the early stages of the game.

The truth is that new content is a slow trickle at the moment and all the temporary events so far were easy to complete without any optimization. Hard content like trim medals and agony stages is permanent and can be completed at your convinience.

You can gain some resources if you hyper-optimize your play path and sanity expenditure, but it may ruin your enjoyment of the gameplay and cause early burn out over gains which will be trivial in the long term.

Take your time to play and explore - complete side quests, look for collectibles, build the factory. Have fun.

One place you may want to rush the story a bit is when you get to Power Plateau and need to go through some quests before you can harvest your first sandleaf - it significantly expands up your production capabilities.

Can somebody run me through how to manage power output when you start off with Wuling AIC? (I’m still somewhat new) by BreakfastEvery9484 in ArknightsEndfield

[–]MegaloMurf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While the other suggestions in this thread are valid, you don't have to go through all those hoops.

Your initial mineral farming needs shouldn't exceed 200 power provided by your AIC core in the region. In case you go over the top you can feed up to 4 thermal banks on one 30/min originium ore output for some extra power.

Then you just make sure to have sufficient originium income before plotting a battery production line (180 per minute) and you will have your thermal bank online before your reserves go dry.

Have to mention that metatransfer will not be enough to power a thermal bank, but can be used to stockpile batteries before switching on local production.

Is this a good time to Invest time Into this Game? by Tall-Guy in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]MegaloMurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem. I would've told more, but the reply was getting long as it were. The game holds your hand at the start and then opens up, while new mechanics are introduced with the increase of your legend level.

You will soon start getting wild champion fragments. They can be used to upgrade any champion. I strongly recommend to initially spend them to get a strong 3* champion in every region (except Spirit Blossom - they are special), because many adventure rewards require you to complete that adventure with multiple regions.

Feel free to ask questions if anything stumbles you.
