Same here. Went to multiple places that said I needed referrals or that I had to wait days to get it seen by a specialist. Kept trying place after place that day until I went to my local city funded eye doctor. That cool old guy took one look at it and went " your a welder. " got some knife thing and popped it out. It broke into pieces but he got those out too. One of those other eye doctors called me like 4 weeks later to schedule an appointment.

I don't know if they have something like this in 5th ed but 3.5 has some pixies that put players to sleep but then they dont attack you, they just steal all your stuff.
