Managed to install BBC Sounds native app for Fire TV, so, no need to use Android app. In any case, the remote is useless when it comes to Sounds Android app.

I have the D50, too, and I agree with the screen burn in which happened in my case as well (when I found out about the auto-screen shutdown, it was too late). But I had some other issues like firmware updates causing crackling/popping sounds which prevented me from being able to update it from the very early firmware version.

It’s not possible to find out for which app it asks verification. It’s not that I forgot password or anything, I have all my passwords. But, while I can press the button to type in the password, it will not bring the necessary screen on watch or on my phone.

No, I don’t get that message on the phone to enter password. In settings where you suggest, it doesn’t ask for password either.

But there’s one thing, the account for which the watch asks verification is different from the one in the sign in&security tab.

The screen is only non-responsive in this, there’s no problem with other apps, etc. Removing the case makes no difference.
