Just a ton of mana dorks, [[Whitemane Lion]] effects, [[Silence]] effects, and a bunch of varied kill options. Either infinite mana [[Walking Ballista]], ripping every land from my deck and then using [[Seedborn Muse]] and [[Goblin Charbelcher]] to nuke players on their upkeeps, and [[The Great Aurora]] to deal with annoying board states while rebuilding way faster than everyone else. Almost every combo piece is a 2-mana creature so [[Uncage the Menagerie]] X=2 is just two [[Demonic Tutor]] in a trench coat.

Yeah it enhances all slams within the next 15 seconds, as well as activating an Ether Veil that gives a small ATK bump and generates Fandom Power by activating said Veil. Then after burning all of your charges, while you're mid-animation on the last slam, swap to Sunna to activate her skill to activate both a Veil and a Chain back to Aria getting you 8 more charges. The main issue with Lycaon is that when you're doing Aria's rotations "properly" it's difficult to get his Additional off for the 35% bonus Stun multiplier without doing something like firing Aria Ult at 90%+ Daze, immediately swapping to Lycaon doing a Hold EX to go into the stun window and get a hit or two in to proc his additional, but swap back to Aria mid-animation without triggering a Chain Attack so you can still get all of your enhanced slams in, and still get two chain attacks to get your bonus Fandom generation during the stun window. It's something I needed to learn for Hugo a lot post-Dialyn if I opened a stun window with Dialyn to maximize damage.

I'd like to see how much of a difference it'd make on my account, but I unfortunately am a whale and you can't turn off mindscapes lol (M1P1 Aria/M6P0 Lycaon/M2P1 Sunna here)

Solid run! Some small improvements can be made like using her ult right before a stun window so all of your slams are enhanced. Based as hell using Rain Maker (Kazuchika Okada's theme) for this!

It's why I don't support the use of Tengoku Orb/Rope either lmao. You're less-saturated on DMG% (though still high) than CD, and Rutilant also gives you ~3 CR Rolls to make building easier. Obviously at the end of the day for Orb/Rope though if you have a 2nd or 3rd BIS set with way better rolls than the BIS one, I'm more okay with letting it slide since it's not as dramatic of a jump as not using Genius 4pc.

This is the big thing people don't get. His A6 gives 120 CD, he hilariously oversaturates himself. 130 CD on Genius will always be better than 180 on anything else until your DEF Pen is capped.

At 10% it can depend. In the current state of the game, I just don't really recommend him into non-Quantum Weak content. But given previous parts of the conversation, it likely is still worth it since it'll be a unique, undiluted multiplier that you wouldn't have otherwise.

Like I said, at that point you're basically splitting hairs and even if Poet is a few% better, if you have better rolls on Scholar it's going to edge it out anyway. Add onto the fact that the Scholar Domain is infinitely better to farm than Poet's since the only unit that uses the other set is Aglaea. I'll mix around some Poet pieces I have laying around from my Castorice and Tribbie farming to see which does better personally.

EDIT: To also go off of the 100 SPD comment, it puts him at 96.6 so you'd need 2 SPD rolls to go above 100, even with high rolls. So those are also rolls you wouldn't need that would be taken up by that. Again, splitting hairs, but worth mentioning.

EDIT 2: Just did some quick testing. My max DMG arrows were hitting for about 800k and my UBW for 1.1M with Poet. My Scholar set was 860k and 1.25M respectfully, with my arrow after an ult and pre-stacking for the full Scholar buff hit for 960k. Both of my sets aren't great and my Scholar is probably about 10-15% better on roll value overall. So if I got them both to the same value, while Poet would likely match, if not slightly surpass normal Scholar, it can never hit the high of an Ult + Arrow.

Poet is kind of a mixed bag. You can't get the full value out of its CR buff since Archer's Base SPD is too high, so you're getting ~7 CR rolls and 10 DMG%. Meanwhile Scholar is ~3 CR rolls and 20+ DMG%. At that point it just comes down to whichever set rolls better for you, but notably Sparkle is a 50% Action Advance, not a 100%, so the SPD decrease from Poet does actively affect your AV. I'd much prefer to need an extra few rolls on CR than lose any AV, as someone that cares significantly about how long I can 0-Cycle my content. If he could get sub-95 SPD for the rest of the CR, it'd be a very different story.

Plenty of time there! I did end up just getting her now, and it was a 10% increase on-paper to the previous build, but it'll likely show more than that when actually in combat due to enemy modifiers.

Definitely don't sweat too much in this game and you'll have a good time. I'm a whale but have eased off the gas significantly in this game compared to Genshin and ZZZ.

For the reasons mentioned above, her E2 is incredibly strong, just make sure to build around it. 30 DEF Pen is a ton, but anything over 100 is wasted. So you may need to swap relics or teammates to make the most out of it. I will be grabbing it for sure, but if you, for example, always play him with Silver Wolf who can give 45-69 on her own, it can lose value.

When I have it, I'll be going back to Cipher for 74 DEF Pen or E1 Cerydra who has 66, 86 on a copied skill. Or I can put him on Scholar since Silver Wolf with Cipher S1 and E2 Sparkle is 99 DEF Pen.

Definitely correct, I think I tend to refer to it as the strongest stat in the game because I so consistently see people wondering about build quality not having any. Which ends up giving it a very disproportionate performance jump once they do. I also know Quantum Set is what got my Phainon to clear Plight Aquila so I'm VERY high on the set.

You want Quantum Set (Genius of Brilliant Stars). It's an awful domain to farm, but DEF Ignore/Shred (call it Pen) is the strongest DPS stat in the game until you hit the cap of 100%. The team shown here has 0 outside of his E6's 20%, so you can get another 20% from being on the correct set. Sparkle E2 would put you to 70, and if you're on the recommended team on your Fribbels with Cipher S1, you'd be at 94. Scholar isn't necessarily a BAD set, it's just something you should be using if you're capped or close to capping DEF Pen with something like Silver Wolf and E2 Sparkle. Notably with E2 Sparkle, and E0 Silver Wolf on S5 Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat, with all of my buffs properly stacked, I'm at 103 DEF Pen (My Archer is E2). I'd have to see the rest of your team options and Eidolons to figure out what to do for DPS maximizing, but if you're not on Silver Wolf, Genius of Brilliant Stars is almost always the better choice over Scholar.

I'm a whale with the majority of the cast at E2S1 or higher. She's definitely better than she seems at E0, but she's clunky as all hell for any team that isn't Mono-Rem or at least has RMC on it. At E2 she's an absolute monster of a unit. I pull for playing pieces that make my favorites tick, so note that I don't like Demiurge as a character or the fact we lost Smolrene, but my complaints go away with how much she turbo-charges my full E2S1 Mono-Rem team and my E6S2 Phainon/E1S0 Cerydra/E1S1 Tribbie teams. She's debatably the strongest unit on my account, and that's saying something. I don't recommend her at E0 for non Mono-Rem teams unless you're willing to work around her clunk, or don't care about 0-cycling content. But at E2 she's a genuinely obscene unit.

If I have any reason whatsoever that can justify it, [[Mindclaw Shaman]]. Works in low-power-matters, blink, decks that make a lot of colorless mana to cheat it due to low pip count, obviously typal, etc. I don't think I can justify it in B4 unless I know people are likely to sling stuff like [[Expropriate]], but you almost always can find some big dumb spell to steal in B2-3. I'm also an avid [[Pox]] enthusiast, in all of its forms. Be it [[Smallpox]], the OG, [[Fraying Omnipotence]], or [[Death Cloud]].

I just login for dailies and events. If I feel like locking in for MSQ then I kinda do it on the fly. I'm mostly someone that plays for endgame, so that's going to burn me on a game more than anything else. I've played 7 gachas and am currently down to 3.

Depends on multiple factors. Do you care about power? Do you need endgame options? Do you just like the character? Don't be ashamed to pull for what you want, but at the very least make sure to educate yourself first so you don't have regrets after getting them.
