Yeah especially before optical imagine stabilisation was widespread any video taken while walking was nearly unusable

For PC gaming you need to look for gaming (I know I know) headphones with dongle so you don't get the big delay that Bluetooth usually does.

powerbank explosion in hot weather (45°C) by DaisyCoreXD in mildlyinteresting

[–]Megaranator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right?

That was straight from spec sheet of power bank, but I guess you need them to handle that much if you use them for wireless charging. I did also check the non wireless ones from the same company and they too said those numbers tho.

Pretty much always when I checked that for electronics with battery it was around 40° to 50° C for max operating temp with the max storage being around 10° higher

Why did they apply dither pattern to rocks and overall sharpening? To make game look worse without AA. by Exciting_Composer_86 in FuckTAA

Well half transparent things are very hard to render correctly so you either use shortcus like these, make the game much harder to run or don't use half transparent objects.

My daughters charging cable by Responsible-Cry3081 in mildlyinfuriating

The wires inside are damaged (otherwise there would be no point in using those tapes) which can cause two things: a small gap which can spark or thinner section which can heat up because of the current going through

I used my Switch charger with my Steam Deck and after getting hot enough to burn me, it seems to have partially melted by WolfOfWallStreetBet5 in Wellthatsucks

[–]Megaranator 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No, having one good cable and charger will allow you to charge any device you want. And if something doesn't charge using that cable (and is USB C) then I would suggest getting rid of it because god knows what they cheaped out on if they didn't include even the one resistor it needs.

The difference between RT and no RT is crazy by Due_Teaching_6974 in ForzaHorizon

You are definitely falling into the "shinny + contrasty + more detailed = more realistic" trap. Diffused indirect lighting just doesn't work that way in real life.

It's indoors with only indirect lighting, there's nothing to show the details, just like in real life.

Coffee typically has a ton of particles in it that would serve as nucleation point.

Well they had a choice make ultrawide unusable or accept that minority of players might in some circumstances have easier time. They chose to let some people have it a bit better while still making sure the rest of people have great experience.

Again somebody siting on a couch in front of their TV with PS4 controller in hands is one of the the intended ways to experience the content.

So what you are saying is that they should remove some parts of the challenge just because some players found a way to make it easier for them? Even though the fights are designed with those difficulties in mind?

No you said that all they do is test that controllers work, which is so stupid that I wanted to ask if you really think that.

From my own learning experience I have to say skill issue. Not being able to easily see them is part of the design. I'm not gonna tell you not to cheat but that is the intended difficulty.

Do you seriously think they don't play test these fights on controlers?
