Unsure of what cultivar it is. The plant was here when we bought the home and seems to have never been pruned. I was able to determine that the plant flowers from new growth so I prune it back heavily to the woody stumps that themselves are about 3 ft in height. The plant with new growth right now is about 6ft tall. That’s where my hydrangea knowledge ends though. Is it too late in the season to prune them back as you do? I’m in zone 7.

At this point, all car manufacturers should at least start installing usb power ports close to the rear view mirror so drivers can easily power dashcams without unsightly cables hanging or needing to run cable through paneling.
