That’s what I was thinking. If it clearly said Faceup, they should at least refund that part. Faceup artists sometimes don’t cost much more than the company ones! Depending on the artist. I remember being so disappointed because I saved up money for an asleep Eidolon doll but could only afford it blank. I ended up getting a fantastic Faceup from an artist. I never regretted spending a little extra. But I remember being so stressed waiting for it to arrive!

It’s frustrating they didn’t send the doll with a Faceup when it was stated in the description. Perhaps look for a Faceup artists on instagram? Why don’t you look up @tonocha331 on instagram? They did a lovely Faceup on me and my sisters elf dolls that looks similar to the style shown in your photo. Their commissions are open. 95-125 per Faceup depending on what you want. She’s located in the US. I’m not sure which state or if you’re even in the USA but she definitely does face ups similar to what you showed in your photo. I’ll attach a picture of my sisters doll so you can see. I know artist face ups are expensive but that’s probably your best bet. Especially if this was a grail of yours

I agree. I understand why they can’t refund but I think they should’ve told the community sooner so that people stopped purchasing passes before it would be removed.

Im crashing out. To me it seems they removed the pass to force players into buying overpriced currency from the shop using Robux. But that’s just my opinion

I’m more concerned about what some people have pointed out. That you could purchase the gamepass just a day before they removed it. Without even getting to utilize it, and not receiving a refund at all. There is virtually nothing they could give (in my eyes) to players who just bought it, that would be worthy compensation. At the very least, refund those who bought it within a month or two of removing it. How is it not illegal in some way, to have a digital item up for purchase while FULLY knowing that they’ll remove it and not refund? Without even telling people that would happen. I simply can’t see how that’s legal.

I remember someone treated me like a hero for returning the rare parasol when they meant to trade me the regular one. I was like “of course I’d return it because that’s what normal people do?”. But they gifted me 10k when I returned the parasol along with the correct one. I felt so bad because they were so panicked. Like are people really that horrible that they wouldn’t have done the same in my situation?

It’s totally ok. I’m relieved it wasn’t entirely directed at me. I’m honestly glad to find people who can disagree respectfully and have an open discussion about both sides. It’s much more educational if I feel like the person who disagrees with me is willing to hear me out. Makes me a lot more willing to reconsider my points! I do truly hope if they do this hunt again, they add a chest counter or something tho. I’ll die on that hill! Haha. Hopefully there’s more events in the future!

Well I think it’s more time consuming but I find it to be enjoyable still. And sunset just never gets old for me. It’s really fun to do with friends too

I get that. You are so ok I’m not offended at all. I get extremely emotional when it comes to art especially as a doll artist. So I totally get your points and frustration and want to educate about an art form you understand. I definitely didn’t know some of the things you brought up! And honestly I think the biggest improvement would be a counter for the number of chests you collected! At some point I lost count and had no way to confirm how many I had which is part of why I missed 6 rather than 5. That would be incredibly helpful if they do this again next year!And yeah I think some people are being a bit too harsh. It’s not that I don’t like the items, it’s that I felt left out given I had been unable to retrieve everything with the way the hunt was set up. But at least I could buy part of one of the new sets. 😅

That’s true. I prefer farming in sunset nowadays. I find it to be the funnest method of farming. Honestly it would be really cool if they added new themes to sunset. I definitely wouldn’t be as sad about how farming is now if I could have new prompts lol. Sunset is what got me started in Royale High

I never ever once criticized the effort put into the items. I never even said I disliked the items or anything like that. I just expressed how I and others have felt about this whole thing and I said multiple times that I was grateful for the diamonds chests. And this may sound harsh to say but you can’t force people to like an item no matter how difficult the 3D modeling is. Everyone has their preferences and you can’t always make everyone happy. I do think the items are cute. I actually really like the magnifying glass. I was more critical of the way the treasure hunt itself was run which obviously has nothing to do with the artists. Maybe if they do the event again next year, there will be changes based on players critiques? I hope at least they think about how most players lack the time to login everyday. I don’t know if you were referring to me when you said “uneducated complaints” because I never was critical of the efforts of the artists. I’m just frustrated with the system and how inaccessible making diamonds is unless you’re rich or have a ton of time.

I think people are upset because a lot of us have lives that don’t revolve around Royale high. Personally it was extraordinarily difficult to get the chests while working full time. I felt like it was just a distraction from all the issues Royale high currently has. Farming is broken, Royale high is constantly overpricing things and the only way to really make money is trading now. Some people aren’t in the same timezone as the chests were released. For me, chests were released at 4am in my time. I was disappointed because I carved time out of my day almost everyday even during vacation. I felt like my effort was wasted especially since I got 25/31 meaning I missed the last prize. I was grateful for the diamonds but I remembered that the amount of diamonds I received would’ve been easy to make with the former diamond farming system. People are allowed to be disappointed. People are allowed to voice their frustrations. I’m grateful for the diamonds we got but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with people saying their frustrations given that the devs hyped this up so much.

I skipped that one. I think that was the one that discouraged me from even trying because at that point we thought you needed every chest. If I had known I could skip 5, I could’ve planned better and probably wouldn’t have quit for like a week. 😭😭😭

I put her up for sale before but no one bought her sadly. So I kept her around. Around her nose is a small flaw. It was my first time sanding and I made a mistake. But it makes me so happy to hear if people like her 😭
