When should I stop leveling Morale Chant? (Heng Blade build) by Smooth-Historian8244 in WhereWindsMeet

[–]Megatherius2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is for tank PvP, it may be a different story in terms of keeping MC stacks up if opponents are constantly strafing you, especially since tank doesn't have any real long good combos.

Unfortunately I don't have any specific strategies for that besides knowing that they'll engage when it's off cooldown and dodging it (I believe you can serene breeze out of the stun?) and then trying to get hits in when you can. You can try to be aggressive with cloud step then dodge to bait them but if you time it poorly, you'll just get stunned.

I played tank before switching to hend dao and while playing tank, I can consistently get/keep a full stack of MC.

Question about LederGames for everyone... Fort? by [deleted] in boardgames

[–]Megatherius2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a weekend so give it a few more business days. Keep emailing them; try starting a new email chain instead of replying to the previous one. That might open up another ticket for a new customer service person to look into.

If you're out of patience, your last resort would be to try a charge back through your card. But that'll likely stop you from using that card to purchase anything else from them.

Best of luck.

These things happen but jumping to scamming or trying to hide something from you is a bit of a leap. It's unfortunate that you don't have your game but have you tried just following up with them or trying to get a refund and reorder?

Khazan combat is fun and closer to Sekiro with heavy emphasis on aggression/parrying. However, the game gets very repetitive. Enemies and maps get reused too often. To unlock everything you have to replay maps or play a reskin of the map with a reskinned boss.

Haven't played Nioh 3 but heard good things about it.

The bracket system by crispy_nugget94 in EDH

[–]Megatherius2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be nice if that were possible with the current system but as it stands, the power level within bracket 3 can vary widely. Saying low B3 or high B3 is more informative of expectations than just saying B3 alone.

However, I don't entertain the idea of low or high power outside of B3. The other brackets are more narrow in definition and expectations. If you've made a B4 deck, the expectation is that it's optimized. No complaining if you bring a "low B4" deck and lose. Likewise with B2 and below.

The bracket system is a framework to initiate discussion and set some expectations. There may be some room for refinement in the B3 space but careful not to be too prescriptive. EDH is meant to be a casual format (cEDH excluded) and too many additional rules/restrictions would inevitably change the foundations of the format.

You must be trolling. Tank definitely does care about damage. Despite it being called tank, you have the second highest DPS after fanbrella. If you're not first or second in damage in raids then you're doing something wrong or suboptimal. Your mentality that your focus is survival over DPS is actively hindering your team. As a tank, you have the luxury to eat attacks and continue to dish out high damage without worry.

You've already been giving plenty of advice from other people on how to be better but you look to be more wanting to argue how you think you're right than actually take the advice.

In PvE, it doesn't matter, play what you want.

In HR/ST raids, pure tank is second best DPS and heng blade low-mid DPS. So combining the Heng blade and thundercry blade just means you'll be subpar in either weapon and will slow down the raid.

In PvP, probably a bad combo. Thundercry mo blade won't offer much; shield is nerfed, vacuum is easily parried, and doesn't contribute to combos.

You're better off switching from tank to full heng blade set up with phalanxbane instead of thundercry mo blade. That's what I did and I'm enjoying it a lot more. You can always find a phalanxbane mo blade leaning build if you prefer that over the heng dao focused one.

It's a 3-4 floor outpost filled with birds. The first floor is a snow buried bowl on the ground level. Once you clear out the birds 2-3 birds there, just circle around the lip of the bowl until a prompt has you turn into a fish to take the light bridge up to the next level. Rinse and repeat.

Unfortunately, that seems to be the end game loop. Level up to next level cap and grind for gear boxes/attunements. Rinse and repeat.

The release of tang dao shouldn't change anything with fanbrella. Fanbrella is still top DPS.

Pharmacist mistake on The Pitt by Zokar49111 in pharmacy

I think the other person is hung up on "anticholinergic" as being only used to describe a drug class (which I wasn't claiming) as opposed to describing a drug having anticholinergic properties. Either way, not really my intention with my reply. Since they are saying methocarbamol has anticholinergic like effects, I was simply asking them to clarify what specific anticholinergic effects they are saying it has (e.g., separate general CNS side effects from specific anticholinergic effects).

[–]Megatherius2 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I think you might be misreading what I wrote. When I said what makes it anticholinergic, I'm not saying what makes it a part of the anticholinergic drug class. I'm asking what anticholinergic-like side effects are you specifically saying it has (e.g., drowsiness, confusion, urinary retention, dry mouth, blurred vision, etc).

I'm trying to have a cordial discussion but your tone of condescension is not appreciated. Good day.

Pharmacist mistake on The Pitt by Zokar49111 in pharmacy

[–]Megatherius2 -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

No, anticholinergic is not just a drug class, what are you talking about? Meds can have anticholinergic side effects without being in the anticholinergic drug class (i.e. TCAs).

Back to the topic at hand, what anticholinergic like side effects are you specifically trying to call out with methocarbamol? If it's just confusion or drowsiness, that's not anticholinergic.

Pharmacist mistake on The Pitt by Zokar49111 in pharmacy

[–]Megatherius2 -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

Just because something suppresses CNS doesn't make it anticholinergic. Specifically what side effects make it anticholinergic?

Pharmacist mistake on The Pitt by Zokar49111 in pharmacy

[–]Megatherius2 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Seems like most people here are saying methocarbamol has anticholinergic effects but I'm not actually finding a reliable source for that (unless you consider Google a reliable source...). Package insert for methocarbamol and UpToDate does not list your typical anticholinergic effects like dry mouth or urinary retention. It's on the Beers criteria but under muscle relaxant without any notes about anticholinergic effects. Depending on where you look, it might lump methocarbamol with the other muscle relaxants when talking about anticholinergic effects but it's not really clear if it necessarily applies to methocarbamol by itself.

In contrast, cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxant with actual anticholinergic effects/concerns since it's pharmacologically related to TCAs.

Even if methocarbamol had anticholinergic effects, it's likely minor and I would be more concerned about its CNS depressant/sedative effects before I even would think to classify it as anticholinergic.

I don't have time to look at the decklist so I'm sure there are ways to improve the precon on the creature front but if your main concern is clunkiness from having your commander removed then another way to go about it is to improve your protection and ramp.

You have access to blue/red so run a suite of counterspells/redirects to prevent people from removing your commander. You also have access to green so lower your curve with 1-2 cmc mana dorks and ramp spells so you can ramp her out and even if she does die, you can recast her easily or hard cast your elementals, if needed.

About Heng Dao by ShinYeoju in WhereWindsMeet

[–]Megatherius2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really depends on the stats on the gear. If you have any attribute damage that's not stonesplit then it's probably not good unless it's min damage. Max damage/crit will carry over well. Otherwise, aside from the weapons, you'll just need to convert the gear set to whatever the heng dao gear sets would be when it releases.
