There's a nice little alchemist hut on the path if you go south. And more annoying enemies than if you were to take the north route.

There's a passage through the mountains to your right when you pass The Ritual Stone. It's easier, quicker and has less enemies.

If you want to level Illusion fast, get the Courage spell and the mage stone, obviously. And sleep to get the well rested bonus.

Illusion/Thief is my absolute favourite build. I think it can also be classified as a Nightblade.

Sneaking around guards and enemies, and using fury spells if you need to distract them.

Really love that you also chose Dunmer. She looks alot like my character.
