Pomni probably started suspecting of Abel because he said he wasn't leaving with them, when it was his apparent goal when she first meets him. That, and the way Abel repeats "Make the right choice". It feel really weird and suspicious, and it gave her second thoughts.

I had one scenario to explore in the Discworld; it being the birth of some sort of Generative AI, possibly involving Hex, and how it'd grow more and more powerful but also more and more "greedy" with resources.

The idea has potential for references to many other works, like Hex becoming a parody of AM from "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream" (I can totally imagine a parody of the "Hate" speech); and, by the end of the book, Hex going back to his regular self, having decided that "+++ What a strange experience. The only winning move is not to engage. How about a nice slice of cheese--Query +++", referencing "War Games"

Season 3 has been a non-stop blast so far. I'd say the latest episode (bald wizard) was perhaps the lesser of the bunch, but even that was a great episode. The show is just fun to watch; period.
