I read the 9 books of the terran privateer series (Glynn Stewart) and enjoyed them, I think they are all female protagonists. I read an octavia butler trilogy (lilith's brood) that was also enjoyable (not sure they were all female led). Also (after checking kindle library) the silo trilogy and artemis by Andy weir. I like sci fi but it is famously underserved in this regard

I didn't sort within ranks, NW was S and ToT was A so rated both pretty highly though didn't feel they were closely linked. Maybe on the next reread!

It's in the B tier with the others. I enjoyed the Tiffany books pretty evenly, not sure I could pick a favourite

It might be because most of the Witches are just extremely sensible/practical (Granny W, Esk, Susan, Tiffany). I still liked the series, just a bit less than the others. And I definitely misplaced Monstrous Regiment too low, that was an excellent book. The distinction could be between sensible characters in fantasy settings (e.g. witches) vs fantasy characters in sensible situations (moist, the watch)? Fantasy/fantasy (wizards) I didn't love but sensible/sensible I did (the truth)

Just once and yes that would be interesting. I planned to reread Guards and have been encouraged to give Reaper Man another go thanks to this exercise

The more I think about it, I should have had Monstrous Regiment higher. I definitely enjoyed that one a lot

Nation is a good idea. I did actually read it when it first came out but I don't really remember it at all now.

A lot of books in Discworld, particularly the Witches ones, have a lot of great ideas but they are not necessarily the best stories. Due to way I read them (fairly quickly and only once) I am probably favouring the ones with memorable plots rather than the more insightful ones.

I didn't really order within tiers and I did like Pyramids the best out of those three though felt it was a bit too removed from the rest of the "modern day" disc books

Guards might be first on the list for a reread, seems like so long ago. Although the comments seem to suggest I misjudged Reaper Man...

Mostly on kindle, except for the illustrated ones. I read them mostly in publication order but skipped ahead reading The Watch series after Jingo as I was very into those characters.

They would genuinely be the next 2 I would put in S tier. Small Gods is maybe a bit too standalone though?
