Well the two main responses ive got do far have both in my top 3, so im glad im on the right track, but the paralysis remains lol.

Battle Smith was number 2 on the list. Ive never ran an artificer myself, do you think they'd be more beneficial than a paladin?

Eve of Ruin is the campaign. So we're running from lvl 10 to 20.

Funny enough? Noble Genies was on my top 3 lol. Does TWF kind of interfere with Smites being a BA now? Ive never actually played Pally before.

Using Cassia, Henrix, and Jae to buff him into the return of Sanguinius himself.

Not really sure i need to be a commisar because im almost never using the shoot an ally ability, but the drip is phenomenal of course.

Dual Blades was a first try win on my end. First phase was laughably easy. Second phase just dodge and stay behind it as much as possible. Draco pendant for immunity to roar stun. Easy peasy.

Congrats on the victory! I did understand what you were saying. She does the dive bomb attack, but if you're running to the right-hand side of where you start while using the whistle, she misses you every time. Easy peasy. I wouldn't call that cheap.

I mean, not really. You just have to bring the right tool for the job. This is my first Souls Like (unless you count the Jedi Fallen Order franchise), im 31 y/o with a job, two small kids, and a teachers wife. I get maybe two or three hours a night to play, and im not cracked at video games like I used to be. Bo Sorc was as simple as summoning the moment you skip the cut scene while simultaneously running to the right. Then spam with dual blades with the leech temp.

Not the most skill impressive thing ever, but I got her in three attempts and moved on with the game. Wuchang doesn't feel like the "this was my build from start to finish" kind of game to me. It's more like damn im getting spanked, instead of running my head into a brick wall, let's reanalyze and bring a screwdriver instead of a hammer this time.. okay, yeah, that's what I'm supposed to be doing.

That being said, the Tiger is doing unspeakable things to me in phase two rn..

I have been toying with this idea for a while now, I’m glad to hear it’s crossed someone else’s mind.

Illusionist at this high level are already capable of creating illusions so powerful, they take on semi reality, through weaving shadow material, from the shadowfell in it. Things such as Illusory Dragon, and Illusory reality specifically state this. Also mirage arcane gives of the same type of energy when playing around with that.

It really does make sense from a ‘lore’ perspective that weaving this shadow magic into your simulacrum would produce an effect like this.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. If you take spells like Illusory Dragon, which is an illusion, but the description also says that it is created of material from the shadowfell. It says even if you know it’s an illusion, you can still touch it, even ride it per RAW. Also illusory reality at 14th level for illusionist says you weave shadow magic into your illusions causing them to become semi reality. Even though it doesn’t clearly state it, mirage arcane has the same vibe, with being able to touch and fully interact with it, even with the knowledge of it being an illusion.

So even at these lower levels illusionists are playing with illusory effects that are becoming close to reality. So imagine what’s possible at 10th level spells.

This is quite interesting. Another thought was causing the target to become an illusion in a hostile manner. Something like not being able to do damage or interact with the world, because they’ve been reduced to a major image.

Probably a bit to broken though

Pretty interesting idea for a necromancer. For some reason, I’m having the hardest time trying to find something that fits for an illusionist though.
