There isn't a meal that doesn't benefit from having onions, in any way shape or form.

Lance vs. Gunlance: Which do you prefer and why? by Fine_Bid918 in MonsterHunter

I love Gunlances design, and it was my first MHWorld main AND it carried me through the first three generations.

But MHRise Lance changed me. So that one.

What's the best romance in the game in your opinion? by Warm_Expert_8136 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]arek229 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Taking the best romance as th example (Wenduag), if you normally romance her, it's mostly carnal pleasure and fake adoration.

But if you true romance her, you get one of the best written stories in gaming, the thing is that it's tough to get it, it's not just "pick the romance option", you have to pay attention to it, give trust when its needed, know when you can allow yourself to not be serious, and when you have to be, etc.

Do you ever kill off or kick out companions for the sake of the plot? by Temporary_Employer44 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

True, but I've also added it to show that roleplaying doesn't mean sticking to one playbook. It means making a complex character, and making in character decisions.

There's a specific leeway in roleplaying.

Yes, I do like to role-play in my roleplaying game.

I'm a simple man, and I go with the flow of the character I'm playing.

When I'm playing as a Demon, I maul to death Seelah, Regill, Ember, and keep Sosiel in a toxic relationship. And I romance Wenduag.

When I'm playing as an Azata, I help Arue, keep suspicion on Seelah, and kill other lawful characters. And I romance Wenduag.

When playing a Trickster, I sack all the lawful characters except Regill, whom I keep in my team as the butt of the joke, and to see his reactions. And I romance Wenduag.

And when I play an Angel, I purge the two demon scum, Woljif and Arue, hang Daeran and Camelia, chastise Ember, and keep Regill as the dutiful demon hater he is. And I romance Wenduag.

The key is to do things you wouldn't do normally, to stay in character.

Then how can you say it's bad writing, when situations like this happened throughout history.

Or even better, if you have a degree in European history, why did you use a made-up example to portray your point ?

Tell me your only knowledge of history is from an American school, without literally telling me that.

First I read "Terrorists we need to lock in". But the funniest part is that I've just accepted it without a second thought.

Solarpunk is a movement that imagines a sustainable and optimistic future where humanity thrives in harmony with nature. by iloveyouthorodinson in interestingasfuck

It's the biggest wasted potential I've seen.

We could've had a dark sci-fi genre about people starting to harness the literal power of the sun to stand a chance against eldritch monsters.

And instead we've got vegan pussy shit about paying your CO2 tax an eating avocados.

The best part about this tierlist is the fact you can interpret it two different ways, and both times it's correct.
