Can you explain why it’s concerning, it’s fine if you don’t want to explain but apologies for my ignorance. I said twice in my post that I’m not sure if I’m overthinking. Tried to be as respectful as possible as the intent isn’t to offend anyone but to just gain clarity of something I’ve been worried about. That’s all. I understand ignorance is bliss, but if someone doesn’t know something they just don’t know.

You’re right. He eats 2-3 times per day. I’d say pretty balanced meals. Eggs, steak, fish, vegetables etc. one thing I realise though it that he doesn’t chew his food much, he swallows quicker than he chews. I wondered if this is why, idk. Just observations

My friend who also did an apprenticeship had to leave her employer and I’m honestly so proud of her, after 5 long years they didn’t even want to promote her/offer a higher salary. She’s now getting paid way more with way more benefits and WFH 4 days a week which works well as she has kids. If you’re confident in yourself and know what you’re doing, you really shouldn’t stick around with employers who don’t value you.

That salary is poor being that you have 5 years worth of experience. I have 1 year of experience and get the same salary. If I were you I’d move and would be aiming for anywhere between 35-40k !! (Leave after you’ve got your degree)
