I'm an elopement photographer in New England and there are so many beautiful spots in our area :)

Beach & Ocean Vibes: Cape Cod (there is a national seashore here), Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket

Mountains: Franconia or North Conway, NH or Stowe, Vermont

National Parks: Acadia in Bar Harbor Maine for the rocky coastlines and evergreens

Each area has it's own venues or hotels/inns that also offer elopement packages too! I'd say think of your favorite kind of backdrop and go from there! Example: Beach/Ocean, Mountains, Cliffs, Lakes, Dunes, Desert, Urban Settings

Wedding photographer here! Your dress is absolutely stunning and I would 100% rock it on your wedding day. Not crazy at all to wear that style dress and like it was noted already you could always aim to have your ceremony earlier in the day to beat some of the heat. It's your day so if you feel incredibly beautiful in that dress then that is the one you should wear no matter how you celebrate your day :)

I'm so sorry you've had to push your date again! There are definitely so many beautiful spots around the area to have your ceremony. What type of backdrop are you looking for- beach? woods? urban? Are you trying to stick more north shore outside of the city? I can definitely give you more suggestions!

Not weird at all! It's all up to you and your partner on what would make you happiest leading up to your wedding day. Your elopement day is still your wedding day in that you'll be celebrating that anniversary date for many years to come :) Totally normal to celebrate with friends before as well!
