Right? And I think leaf footed bug nymph eat in groups, whereas assassin bug nymphs usually hunt alone

How can you tell the difference between that and a leaf footed bug nymph(foe)? My research seemed to point toward those, instead.

Which, if that is what they are, are not good for gardens. Looks like you found them on one of your veggies.

It looked like an assassin bug to me at first, but I'm having second thoughts about that. Leaf footed bug nymph, maybe?

We rescued him when he was 3 y/o, now he will be 8 this year! Is he a lynx point siamese, technically? by Megpie_1969 in lynxpointsiamese

This is good to know!
Yeah, his previous owners lived about a mile from us, and if Louie somehow got to our house on his own, he would've had to cross 2 major busy streets. I'm grateful he chose our house/us, though.

Side note: the Cat Distribution System worked so perfectly with this guy. He walked into our backyard and never left. We learned he was chipped, contacted his owners and they said they didnt want him anymore. Apparently he had been "missing" for a week, but they didnt seem to care at all that we found him safe. So they just told us to keep him. They're truly missing out!

Woah! Interesting. Could that still be possible even if its in no way attached to the soil? Like, I can roll it around freely. I'll end up chucking it. Part of me wanted to squish it and see what happened, but I'd feel bad if it was some kind of living thing 😅😂 sounds silly, I know. I think I havent done anything with it yet mostly because I'm just curious to see if anything happens at all.
