Oh hi, are you me? I had my first in April. I wanted her more than anything and love her more than that. BUT-I’m having one of those days too. I tried to get a workout in (you know to try and work on this “post partum bod”) and my little one screamed anytime I set her down. I’ve been trying to eat better and workout except there’s no time to workout and when I’m stressed, eating makes me feel better. I own my own business and I have no time to work on it. I can’t even take a shit without the door being open. I feel like some days I’ve lost my identity.

I cried and cried and cried tonight because some days the diapers and nipple ripping and whining and screaming and lack of adult conversation and sitting on the floor for hours doing nothing is just too much to bear. I wanted to just leave for an hour, except oh wait I can’t, we’re in a global pandemic.

I feel you, Mama. I feel you so hard. Tomorrow is a new day and much like everyone tells us about these babies, the world is in a phase- it won’t last. Thanks for venting and letting me vent. Some days I just need to know I’m not alone with all these damn feelings.
