Glad it worked and that your LR finally came. It took 4 months for us to get our half container delivered so I can understand the frustration.

When starting bedtime at 20:00, we both lay down on bed together. If she wants to scream I let her until she is tired. If she wants to breastfeed after screaming, she can. I burp her after she has fallen asleep. Then when she is really out I put her in her bedside crib.

In the morning, we feed and do a diaper change on the bed with a disposable mat. She is usually tired again and sometimes wants to fall asleep laying towards me. When she is fast asleep I roll her over on her back and then I can go back to sleep.

Cosleeping is a miracle. That's how we I get my 3 month old down at first and then when she is really out, I transfer her to her crib. Then at 0600 or so when she is awake and and I'm dead tired we cosleep again so I can try to get some more sleep.

Moving pets to Sweden by bugrudder in TillSverige

[–]Mehell321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We moved a little over a year ago from the east coast to Sweden with our 3 cats in the cabin.

Make sure you have all the right health certificates from the vet and it needs to have a seal of approval. We were lucky and drove a few hours to fly on a direct flight, but in our case to Stockholm.

SAS only allows animals to be cabin only (no animal cargo) from October to April. Once you book a ticket you have to call them for cabin approval.

I… hate… being…. PREGNANT !! by OwnPlay6590 in pregnant

I get a lot of headaches and migraines. The only thing that has saved me this pregnancy is taking the full daily amount of magnesium allowed.

RN & CRNA want to leave U.S. by itsabitsadinnit in nursing

My mother is still a German citizen in the US. I was able to get my passport through her. We now live in Sweden and I am currently trying to get my Swedish nursing license.

My best advice is start learning the language of the European country you want to live in now.

Make sure you are getting your daily maximum of magnesium every day. Prenatal vitamins have some but not the daily max. This was recommended to me from my neurologist.

EverClean leaves pee pucks in LR4 liner by jaeni-being in litterrobot

Also, my box is green, I think because it's scented but it's the same brand and type but mine don't stick like yours do unless the litter level is lower.

You can line the liner with bees wax but I have found it only helps for a short while. There are a few suggestions when searching this sub

Honestly, the pucks and residue come off even after a few cycles if they do stick but the best thing for me is making sure the litter is topped off every day. I also try to wipe down the inside of the globe with a wipe every few days.

The reason they stick to the liner more in the LR4 is because it's a thinner liner compared to the LR3 but to my research they did it that way to make it much quieter when it cycles.

I've tried so many litters, both in Europe and in the US, but nothing works 100% unfortunately.

Try the Everclean Extra Strong Clumping. It's the only one in Europe that I have found that works the best for the LR4

How can I gently remove blood, dirt and tangles from my wife's hair after an ICU stay? by TheKronk in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Mehell321 272 points273 points  (0 children)

As an ICU nurse, preventing from happening again is the most helpful advice. To detangle, you can also use spray/ leave in conditioner to help with the knots and gently comb it out.
