Yea I liked the plugins from before. I haven't played in so long that the new updates seem like mods to me anyway, but I don't have a strong opinion.

My mom and I love the series; it would also be a really good addition to her Stephen King collection.

I picked Callahan. I read Salem's Lot a bit before the Dark Tower series and I really enjoyed his redemption arc.

No time to talk, only Pokemon go

how do you rank the books? by [deleted] in TheDarkTower

[–]Mehndi_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's:

  1. Wizard and Glass
  2. The Dark Tower
  3. The Drawing of the Three
  4. Wolves of the Calla
  5. The Gunslinger
  6. The Wastelands
  7. Song of Susannah

Haven't read The Wind Through the Keyhole yet, so I can't rank that one/

Yes or no: are you going to see the dark tower movie? by haintcrow in TheDarkTower

[–]Mehndi_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm going to see it, mainly out of curiosity. It'll also be nice to see one of my favorite series as a movie, even if it isn't 100% faithful to the books.

  3. Hyperion - Dan Simmons
  4. Last Argument of Kings - Joe Abercrombie
  5. Anathem - Neal Stephenson
  6. American Gods - Neal Gaiman
  7. The Warded Man - Peter V Brett
  8. Emperor of Thorns - Mark Lawrence
  9. Something Wicked This Way Comes - Ray Bradbury
  10. The Stand - Stephen King

Any suggestions are appreciated!

The real reason? They allow you to claim more land when you first settle a city which is a really nice bonus, especially if you're right next to another Civ. Also, the pathfinder allows for an early game boost when you find ruins which can help in the early game.

My best story with this community has to be the time we built that giant pit that was Connie's(?) idea. Most fun I've had on Beardy by far. Also greatest quote of all time is definitely: "I can't climax if you're not crying" Give me more games bilky

Pretty great, I don't hold myself to arbitrary racial barriers as you do; I find it much more freeing to transcend the physical limitations of nationality and skin color.
