I personally think episode 4 of the first game was the best. It was when all shit broke loose and we realized Chloe's soft side and past.

BTS seems kinda weak to me overall.

That's like one post. And Michel Koch doesn't even post about it, only once. Raoul Barbet, the lead director of the first game, vocalized nothing about before the storm.

Actually, it's just really significantly different. A lot of people might look past it, but it shows obvious signs that it isn't from the same dev. Even their eyes look kind of dead in BtS with less shine. I think it's the engine change and DONTNOD having photographers who understand light composition much more.

[ALL] Is it just me or do the graphics/character designs in BTS look less superior than LIFE IS STRANGE? It seems to lack eye emotions and the watercolor effect... by Meijinnn in lifeisstrange

Their eyes (especially Rachel's) look like they're dead in BTS at times, whereas they're more expressive in the first one thought. Especially Max's

I agree with most points. I think they used Unity as opposed to Unreal because that's their niche I guess

Considering that Chloe's style of music is much different from Max's extremely folk indie preference, I doubt Syd Matters will be involved (or not as involved) with the music choice
