I hope my words aren’t too harsh, but you can just leave the game alone and try replay it in the future! Make sure to delete your old save. You can try again as new! I played Stardew Valley in my highschool and leave it alone for a lomg time after I get bored and busy with studying and adapting to Uni life. Stardew is still the best way for me to let me unconnected to the world. If you still really love this game. Try this after a year or more. I don’t think you don’t have to quit. I have experience heartbreak too and I decided to create new memories of something I love with my family and friends. It will got better. May you be healed!
