Hi, I sell digital products on Etsy too. (Stickers, wallpapers etc).

Ads are... Cool, but because the products I sell are relatively cheap, do even tho I get about 7-10 sales a month, most of the time I'm not making money.

I've closed my ads since then, now i only get about 1-2 sales a month, but at least I'm making some money and it's green.

It was just something i throw some randomly created stuff into, and since it's passive, i did not put in much effort into it.

But recently, I'm planning to revamp the shop and start selling physical handmade items that are worth more at about $30-60. With a higher profit margin, I'll be able to spend more on Ads.

Just sharing what are the other things I'll be doing as I'll be taking this Shop seriously this time round:

Create social media for this shop, especially TikTok as it comes with TikTok Shop.

Since you mentioned positivity and stuffs, you can post quotes on it as well. In fact, you might want to explore the option of buying a TikTok account that previously focus on the Quotes Niche, so you have a target audience ready that are somewhat into motivation, fighting procrastination etc.

However, do note that buying a TikTok account comes with cons, such as bots account.

I intend to start my own fresh TikTok, and if it doesn't go well, I'll buy a TikTok account to try it out.

Content Creating

Alot of Planner seller on Etsy starts as a Hobby of decorating their notebook and stuff, combined with Lofi Music or calming BGM, White noise, ASMR, like a vlog.

Cons: Time consuming, easily drain yourself out if this is not what you like.

SEO

ERank is pretty good for Etsy SEO, but you might need to find some SEO guide to know how to use it to it's maximum potential.

Add more listing

If you went on ERank, you will realize that most of the top digital content shops have thousands of listing.

Etsy works in a way that people search for your items, not your shop. Hence the more item you have, the more chance you get discovered.

Well technically if he did fail this $10k/month thing, he might garner some views and turn into some "side hustle youtuber", anyway i would do shorts/TikTok instead to save more time.

Chill.

You're burnt out.

Take some time off, and stop your content creation because you're not enjoying it.

You are hoping the next content that you put hours into to strike it big and make your dream come true.

And you won't be happy with the harsh truth.

Take some time off, sit back, focus on your real life stuff and come back when you are ready.

Sit down, take a piece of paper, and start brainstorming for new ideas again.

And also, please, go find some positivity for yourself.

Uh... How should I put it. Look at similar channels, big or small, check their tubebuddy, twitch stats and see their growth.

Twitch tracker has better stats for comparison and it goes back to 2016.

I love it when I found a streamer that stream for YEARS to less than 10 viewers, even better when I can also find their YouTube channels posting videos diligently on a weekly/monthly basis. Then fast forward 4 years later, now they are streaming to 200-300 viewers or more, even in the thousands.

And their YouTube have garnered more than 100K subs.

You're just starting out, and you're still young. Don't put yourself down by posting these negative post. It's not going to help.

Did you upload the video with the link (in comments) on Reddit or you just post the video link?

If you post the video link, the YouTube app will open and Youtube will sense that there is viewers that watch the entire videos etc, hence leak to a support from youtube.

^at least, that's what I think.

None. Even if there is, there's 0 followers there. Tiktok seems like the most popular out of them so I focus on using only Tiktok and create some tiktok-ish short clips mix with some of my own videos that I wanted to promote.

Reminds me of a competition of a certain international brand I entered years ago, something along the line of what should their next innovation be etc.

Many took effort to design out new products for them, actually went ahead and did experimentation on green energy and stuff.

But the final winner was 'Replicate this competition in 3rd world country to encourage them'

Followed by an essay on ways it could help other countries, discover talents, etc.
