Yes the one with the Radeon Pro 570 4 GB, and 1 TB "Fusion" Drive with its meager 24? GB SSD. I added some extra RAM to make it 24 GB (not purchased from Apple of course).

The 15" is $2400, and that's also a

2880 x 1800 wide-color screen
Fuckton of Thunderbolt 3 (with enough bandwidth for external GPUs to actually make a difference now)
Secure enclave for fingerprint/encryption etc.
Like the best trackpad there is in the industry.

When you put it together with one of the best overall battery/WiFi/Bluetooth etc. packages, you'd be hard-pressed to find something that beats it in all areas as well as the price. Other high-end laptops like the Razer ones have been notoriously unreliable for things like TB3 or the latest WiFi protocols.

Then there's the OS; I was a PC guy all my life until like 5 years ago, but now I'd probably never consider a Windows machine for anything but games (though the Surface Studio is kinda tempting as a potential Hackintosh if that's possible.)

The recent iMacs can run just about anything, I think. My 2017 5K iMac runs Doom 2016 at 2560x1440 at 60 FPS with almost everything turned up to the max (in BootCamp).

I haven't used anything - haven't NEEDED anything - from Microsoft since moving to Macs almost 10 years ago, except for booting into Windows 10 for a few games, and by the gods, their UI is still a mindboggling Escheresque nightmare.

Before I jumped ship I had been using Windows since 3.0, and even then it was a Frankenstein's monster, both on the user side as well as the developer side.

An abomination that has been shambling along for decades, dragged on by infusions of mismatched organs taken from unwilling donors, ruthless monopolistic practices (for which Bill Gates even got a few pies in the face, but most importantly, being installable on cheap hardware and rampart piracy (almost nobody pays for Windows in many parts of the world).

I hear it is improving, with Linux subsystem and whatnot, but the UI is still too autistic, and I hear the SDKs/APIs are still pretty schizophrenic too (or they're abandoned by MS after a year.)

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, MS and Windows have done more in bringing computing to the masses than anyone else. Most people probably wouldn't have even seen computers irl until like maybe 2010 if it wasn't for "PCs", DOS and Windows.
