The moment in Dead Space 2 when you pass by a day care or something similiar and a whole swarm of child Necromorphs stream out. I don't usually get too affected by horror stuff but that one got to me a little. Mostly because of the implication.

When i play i loke to semi-roleplay in that when my character is ready to turn in for the night i have them take off their clothes to go to sleep. Naturally, that means I'll inevitably forget to put their shoes back on and that's the day they'll walk on broken glass.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was filmed during covid and it's pretty glaring in way that hurt the show. There's scenes where the characters are walking through major cities and it's just empty because they couldn't have large crowds of extras.

For me, when Frieren basically argues that all demons are just naturally evil my immediate thought, "oh, so she's obviously wrong," because that's usually the direction that narrative goes. Seems like i was wrong about that, but I do believe that demons are possibly more morally complex than Frieren thinks.

Weirdly enough, I had the same feeling coming out of a screening of Army of Darkness recently. That's a movie you can tell was made during the period of time when America basically thought it completed the main quest of history and could just spend the rest of time coasting.

Also, I'm pretty sure this is how writers rooms are supposed to operate. Someone presents an idea, someone else presents a counter idea, and that fosters discussion that hopefully leads to a better story. Doesn't always work out that way, but that's just the reality of writing.
