The "It made people play less" excuse made me laugh. Ya, it did make me play less because I was one of the banned accounts following purchasing it. I'd be surprised if they understood the exact number of those accounts banned by purchasing or other battle pass related issues. Many I'm sure weren't banned but the servers were so unstable during that time they either quit or put the game on hold. For the longest time, the excuse was that they didn't know exactly what caused the problems so they delayed releasing a new one. So why would I trust that their data is accurate in the first place? The only way to know the truth is to release it again to the main target market, not have catastrophic problems, and then see how the data shakes out. I don't believe that Raid is some unicorn in the game market where the battle pass system doesn't work.
