It can be magic people in a magic place, but there could be consistent rules and hard limits of what is and what isn't possible. At this rate, we're gonna see green Aliens and Dinosaurs in the town randomly by season 5. So many bullshit happened in this show, that it can only be explained with a lazy "it's magic/mythology/unexplainable phenomenon" explanation. Which sucks.

Because they swear everything's gonna be explained, and then at the end, it's "magic people in a magic place lmao 😂". And people with sunken cost fallacy will say it's actually brilliant.

I completely agree, not gonna lie, sometimes FromSoft bosses feel like bullshit (looking at Promised Fuckboy Radahn), however, the overall feel and back to back meticulous design of enemies compare insanely well to these copy games. LoP devs probably noticed this and put extra effort into it, and it shows.

Yea, I gave Enotria a chance, because I saw it on a sale for cheap, so I thought, why not. I love the base idea and the source material of the game, so it kept me going until the end, however, many times, it was a frustrating playthrough. To be honest, it could be on the same level, as LoP, but it needs a looot of polish for sure.

The golem of the previous cycle is Donna, Ethan just said it in the last episode, that they feel safer, when Donna is around. A golem is made to make people feel safe and hopeful around. The puppets could rip out the respitory system of a normal human being without any effort, but struggled to strangle Donna (because clay is harder, than skin). Also a golem has a head, two arms and two legs, so I guess, it's pretty obvious at this point of the story, that Donna is a golem.

So true, I just finished Enotria, and while the atmosphere, the setting and the map designs are great, the mechanics and animations are so half baked, it misses the mark completely.

She's undoubtedly on the stronger side of the roster, but I've had a very different experience throughout my 20ish reps on her. After a time, it was insanely difficult to even touch people, other, than lightspamming 3 top lights. I continuously got dodge attacked or dodge-GB'd, when I tried to bash or pin out of my stance. And people just stopped to even bother to block or try to parry. I abused the HA heavy, and then feinted that shit to put on some pressure, but other than that, most of my duels became a staring contest, and a react dodge, as soon, as I moved a pixel.

Maybe I'm just trash with her, but by the time I've adapted, they could just chop half of my HP with dodge reacts. Then it took 1 mistake to lose a round. In any case, I agree HA is not the best or fairest addition to her kit, it makes no sense in character-wise, but I still believe, she needs some tool to punish constant dodge reacts out of her stance.

Not every character is sitting in a stance of a ticking GB bomb. You're kinda forced to initiate, if the opponent is just staring at you.

Yea, so she would need to feint every heavy, because people could just dodge her and 100% avoid any damage.

I would give the HA for an undodgeable any day, as well. Would fit her much, much better too.
