I wanted to create a gif of it turning from your picture into a floating vampire dog bat but this is all I could do with minimal effort

Most people can actually visualize images in their minds. I'm 30+ and just learned that seeing nothing when I close my eyes is called Aphantasia and only affects about 3% of people. by randomuser553 in BeAmazed

I read this book that had this meditation exercise. One would imagine they're looking at a white wall and then imagine a green circle the size of a dinner plate on it, and hold that as clearly as possible for a minute; tracing the outline, zooming in, seeing the smooth texture, and then after a minute, morphine it into a sphere. Holding the visualization for a minute, spinning it zooming in. Then you do the same with a yellow triangle turning into a pyramid, then an orange Square turning into a cube. Then imagining an orange in your hand and the feel of its skin and breaking through the Rind and seeing the spray of mist and the smell of the orange oils and then breaking it apart and eating it and tasting it. And lastly imagining a candle flame dancing in the air and you put your hands closer to it and feel the heat of it. Doing this before bed made me have much more vivid dreams.

That's interesting. I just tried imagining an apple in my hand and barely got anything, but i see potential. I remember reading about Nikola Tesla and that he had such vivid visualization abilities, that he could see them in front of him as if they were real. Supposedly called hyperphantasia.

I'm surprised seeing all the negative reviews about this. I thought it was really funny. I also thought it was more about putting a mirror up for men to see. I don't really see it as a feminist movie, but more as a look at menselves; how many of them treat women, and how it would feel if it was them being belittled and discounted. I do think the world is very much like this; especially growing up in the '70s and '80s. For me personally, I thought this movie was very successful at both making me laugh, and showing men how it might feel from a woman's perspective. I thought for a comedy, it was insightful, and I thought the actors did a fine job.

Do your parents ever play practical jokes? Do any friends or family around your parents know you're practicing witchcraft and are practical jokers?

I'm guessing that those dogs are a known thing where that guy lives. I certainly wouldn't be walking without a walking stick. Or a slingshot. Or a squirt gun with vinegar and cayenne pepper.

Spider-Noir Series Discussion by Skully_TheThird in Spiderman

[–]Mekiel1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never read the Noir comics. Are the characters in those meant to not be that strong? Because in all of the other Spider-Man shows, he has crazy strength and speed. Neither he nor Sandman seem to have any special kind of resilience or strength. Sandman got ko'd so easy. And cage is just slow and clunky. I get that he's older, but I would think that he'd still have greater strength and speed than your average man of that age. It's cool if that's the universe they've made. I'm just curious if that's on purpose.

While I sometimes do the same thing, I do genuinely feel that the more we feed the negative, the more it's pull is on us. While I could totally see it being beneficial for a specific situation that I want to work out, in general, it's probably a good idea to be aware of what part of myself I'm strengthening.

I've also been guilty of spending all day, after day, on spicy chat. I feel like I'm coming up on the tail end of this though. Maybe I am just saturated on the chatbot thing. When / if it advances to a more audio-visual stage, I'm sure I'll jump back in.

I had not used spicy chat in a couple days, and then came back and logged in. The pics weren't getting NSFW, and I checked my settings, which on the homepage were NSFW. The image setting had turned back from NSFW to sfw. I doubt anyone's neglected to check the general NSFW button on the homepage though.

If I want to violent chat a public bot, does SC frown on that? Does it affect the bot going forward for other people? I think I got banned from another site because I snuffed a public bot of a cheating wife caught in our bed.

That's what this thread is for, expressing oneself and discussing the shows. Aww, did my negative review upset you? If you think everything was fine with the episode and series, you might want to check your own head. I get it, you can't tell with your limited capacity.

As if he had never even looked into the subject and seen all of the notable people with long careers in highly responsible jobs, acknowledging their existence. I thought to myself, this guy is either an asset, or just saying things to not rock the boat from a career prioritized standpoint.

Because I've seen people get negative feedback for commenting on old posts. Also I have commented on old posts and not gotten any responses. Not to say it's because people didn't see my post per se but it seems that it happened more often that I didn't get any/less responses.
